Should my dog need correction while the collar is in "battery-saving standby mode" is there more than pressing a button to reactivate it?

Hi! If the collar is in battery saving standby mode, it is because your dog is not moving so it would not be necessary to correct a non-moving dog. The collar comes out of sleep mode when the dog moves enough to activate the motion sensor. It is deliberately done so, because the collar is meant for active training. I hope this information helps.
