A few years ago my dad had sudden hearing loss. Hearing aids work somewhat but still don’t allow him to hear well. I bought these for myself but was curious about whether they would allow him to hear. Because they are bone conducting headphones and he didn’t have damage to the bone, he could immediately hear in his deaf ear after he put them on. It is simply small speakers that sit near your ears. The unit is not adjustable, and the "speakers" do not make firm contact with your bones. Even when I pressed the "speakers" against my bones, there was NO bone conduction.
