The old wheels were looking pretty tacky and my wife opted for a little restoration work on her subdivision cruiser versus a new ($$$) bike. So, I needed 700mm rims with freewheel hub; when I saw this set on Amazon (after lots of looky-loo on alternative choices) at the price including tires/tubes and, the must have for me of SS spokes included, I felt I hit the jackpot.Wheelset arrived in great shape and very promptly. The packaging was great and arrived with no damage to the wheels. The wheels look great with fine rim finish and uniform spoke tension; the rim design with the dropped center will eliminate any worries with the spoke nipples wearing on the tube and a stiff rim protector covering the nipple recesses.The tires were well mounted and only required inflation with no further adjustment; only one wheel needed a little spoke tension tweaking to run true.The only issue I had was that both wheels axles were too tight and required adjustment. This was something I was prepared to address via having the proper THIN open end wrenchs (13 and 15mm) to grip the nut(s). I don't consider this much of an issue since to me most anyone considering buying wheels already is reasonably knowledgeable about bicycle maintainance. Be aware, you won't be able to hold those axles nuts to adjust the clearance without a thin, heat treated, open end metric wrench like a PartTool or SunTour.Now with the rest of the old Trek clean-up/tune-up completed and the shiny new wheelset mounted it looks (almost) like a new bike with a sizeable discount to a complete new bike. They were pretty much true out of the box, look good, no burrs or defects, and accepted a new freewheel effortlessly. I'm deducting a half-star only due to the alloy spears being polished aluminum instead of black as pictured, and for having to reset the tubes and tires due to them being mounted slightly off.
