Excellent ergonomics; more than sturdy enough for most uses
I was a little concerned about this since several reviews mention (and show) the head breaking at the weld joint. I'm happy to report that either the build quality has been improved by the manufacturer, or I just got lucky. In any case, the two parts of the head are solidly welded together. I've had zero issues using this in the garden to dig, weed, and cultivate. The handle is long enough so that I can use it without having to stoop, but not so long that it's unwieldy in tight spots. I'm finding it very comfortable to swing and use -- less effort than using a long handled tool, and no stooping/kneeling as you would with a hand tool. It's a good middle ground. The handle offers good grip and is comfortable to use even when I'm not wearing work gloves. I am very satisfied with the design, build quality, performance and value. Five stars.

Perfect lawn and garden tool!
Sturdy tool that is not heavy. Easy to use and sharp. Great size and length.

Always useful in maintaining a firebreak around my home.
Works well for severing plants at the ground level. Has a nice heft which allows it to work with less effort. The hoe part eventually breaks off but after a lot of use. I keep one in reserve.

Good little digger
These work great for cutting small roots while digging holes. Down side is that the prongs can break off if they get stuck in a root, but welds back on nicely if needed. I liked mine so much I purchased a second one.

Needed to save your back.
Love this gardening tool. Great long reaching design. Light enough weight while still being powerful. Good sharp claws, nice price for quality of item.

Very weak cultivator tines end.
I liked the oval-shaped handle to give more strength in the operating direction an easier hand grip. The long weld to the hoe end also looked to add strength. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED when the very first time I tried to use it, the cultivator tines bent 90 degrees. They are very weakly attached to the handle. It is a serious design flaw. I actually bought it to make it easier for me to pull weeds and crabgrass from the lawn. I could actually pull them out with my bare hands because of their shallow roots, but it was a strain on the grip to do very many. I had been using a similar-looking tool for several years, but it eventually broke due to the handle rusting at the business end. This tool looked like it had a more rugged design and welds (compared to my old light-duty tool. I had great expectations. I was totally taken by surprise when the first time I used it, I sank the tines into the crabgrass roots and pried up. All 3 tines (being a unit welded to a thin piece of metal), just bent right over at the thin metal with no effort at all. It also took no effort to bend them back straight again by tapping them against the ground. If I bend it one more time, it would probably just snap off. For how rugged the hoe and handle are made, the cultivator end is just a crap design. There should have been some structural ribs welded across the thin section, or bring the tines back to the hoe/handle connection point. If it was just a hoe, it would be a fine tool, but it would need to be lower cost. I can not recommend this tool for anything more than the hoe end.

Fantastic garden tool!
Wondered when unpacked this garden tool.....thought it looked entirely too small teeth to actually do any good and boy was I wrong! THIS IS FANTASTIC garden weeder/hoe.....you easily strike the ground and pull towards you and the small openings in the tong teeth are perfect for just pulling up the grass or weed, only capturing the plant and roots, no room for dirt!! and also easy to shake or pull to remove the entrapped weed/grass....my chickens LOVE their garden salads!!!! the greens, that is!! woohoo! Since steel with easy grip no worries about breaking anything!!!!! LOVE IT!
