Good flavor

This alone is not the absolute end all but mixed with another boullion it’s fabulous. I found it the first time in a world market and they ran out... so excited to find it here.

Disappointed
I love good PHO soup. Sadly, this is not that. I made the soup following the instructions on the package (ie. Add soup to 2 cups of hot water). The result was a soup that tasted mostly like hot water with a faint memory PHO. What a disappointment. To make things worse, I was charged $19.75 for shipping and handling on 4 boxes the size and weight of an individual one serving cereal box. Bad purchase all around.

Works great as a base
By itself the fish notes are the strongest. Adding beef bullion (used Better Than Bullion beef) brings it to a beef pho taste. Also I added carrots, mushrooms and bok choy for more depth though it tasted good without. You can use this broth to add other vegetables too. It’s a great base for soup in general!
