Does this come with the 18650 rechargeable battery?

It does not. The 88030 model comes with a single CR123 Duracell battery. As a single battery model I do not believe the 18650 will fit in it; pretty sure you will need a two battery model such as the appropriately named 2L. However, I surmise that the 1 and 2 in the model stands for the number of batteries inside and so too might the L stand for Lithium. It may be that the 2L, even with more battery room, might need a lithium rather than a rechargeable battery to operate well. I'd check with Streamlight if you are really married to the rechargeable idea. Streamlight.com

Can the protac hl take a li-ion 16340

how long does it take to recharge? Been charging mine for over 12 hours the light is still red. Isn’t it supposed to turn off or turn green whendone?

I am having the same issue. Charged it overnight and indicator light is still red. I am worried I will overcharge it.
