so, do not fool yourself--this is not an alternative to a large, electric wash machine. If you are weak or have some sort of disability, this wont work for you. You can break the plastic handle if you force it too much , so don't force it too much. duh. Pro's- no electricity needed, small , fits in a very small cabin, for example, can wash a full load of baby clothes/or womens underclothes/or a few adult clothing items spin-dry feature works pretty well with minimal effort (you must still hang dry, but they dry quickly) cheap compared to other alternatives Cons-- washing is not too easy--must be careful so that handle doesn't break water leaks a little out the top while using--not a problem for me since i use it in a waterproof shower area . If you need to wash clothes for camping, or when electricity is not available, get this. its worth it. Have realistic expectations of a $50 plastic device and you will be fine

Not very strong and awkward to use.

I bought this as a stop gap whilst waiting for my washing machine to be repaired. It gets things clean however I personally find it easier to wash by hand. The spin feature is decent; leaves clothes as damp as they would be from a spin cycle on a washing machine.

Been a long time since receiving this. Good only for camping, it is hard work rotating by hand. Have since given it to charity lol.

This was desperation, quite frankly. The worst time to have a broken proper washing machine? During a national lockdown! I am just about capable of doing some of the washing in the kitchen sink (no bath in this house either!) but wringing the items out to hang them was a nightmare, and proving exceptionally painful. I tested the washing function with a very light load of a t-shirt & underwear and even weighed the load to ensure it was under 2kg. It was painful & very ineffective. But ultimately, I bought this for the "drying" function. I knew fine well that there wasn't a chance it was going to dry anything, but hoped it would make removing excess water from handwashing less hellish. It does, to a point. The resistance when turning the handle is far less than with the "washing" function, but it still takes significant pressure to turn. The "suckers" on the base aren't strong, so as well as turning the handle, you also have to make sure you're keeping the entire device in place. The outlet pipe thing is worrisome too - the cap isn't particularly tight and the design of a) holding it upright to the device b) keeping the cap closed, is terrible, and I imagine if you were to use the washing function more than 5 or 6 times, you would have to get the duct tape out. Again, for the "drying" function, that's not as important as you can have that open and running off into a bucket, sink or something similar. Ultimately, it does wring the majority of the water out - some items still drip when hung to dry. As a result it makes the process of washing, for the time being, less painful. However there are multiple serious failures in its design, and I would never use it for the "washing" function. Not only that, it's downright false advertising to suggest the second function is drying - I didn't expect it to dry, but to describe it as such is an absolute cheek. If it was perfect or close to it, it would definitely be worth 50 odd quid, but it is far far from it, and is probably worth 30 at most. If you're absolutely desperate, then it's worth a try, but really, I would avoid it otherwise.

The expected size for a hand crank machine. Well built, easy to spin if you don't overload it. Heavier fabrics like denim do get stuck at the bottom though. Powder detergents sometimes stick on clothes even after rinsing on cold cycles, would recommend pre-dissolving in boiling water before adding to cold cycle. Much cheaper than an electric machine or going to a coin machine. Expect to be doing laundry every day though or it piles up on you, and I'm only one person, so would not recommend for families.

I used it for spinning hand washed soaked items because I find that part of hand washing damages my fingers and causes trigger finger and tendonitis, so I end up not washing for awhile until I really need to wear them which is not good cos should wash straight after wearing. I only spin one item at a time and it doesn't wobble much if you don't force it to spin faster than a certain speed. Once the sides don't have anymore 'rain' dripping down, I stop. It's about as dry as when I hand wring myself but the garment is much less creased, compared to the washing machine spin or hand wring. I spun like 6 items in a row and they only drip a little after hanging. All in all, I like it.

Très pratique pour une étudiante sans machine ça dépanne bien. Robuste.

Cercavo questo prodotto da un pò di tempo, ispirata dalle vecchie lavatrici a manovella di un tempo e devo dire che mi trovo abbastanza comoda. Di certo si possono fare piccoli bucati ma il risultato è soddisfacente. Poco forte la centrifuga e punto un pò a sfavore il prezzo, che a mio avviso doveva essere inferiore , per il resto la consiglio a chi si sposta o a chi anche in casa deve lavare poca roba e leggera, soprattutto d'estate.

Alles in Allem eine klare Kaufempfehlung da die Vorteile evtl. kleinere Nachteile klar überwiegen daher gab ich durchweg 5 Sterne. Die für mich wichtigste Funktion ist das Schleudern. Suchte hier dringend nach einer wenigstens einfachen Auswringhilfe für Handwäsche und dies leider weitestgehend vergeblich. Der Markt wäre sicherlich da, denn das Auswringen eines dicken Pullis oder Flies Hemdes in Größe XXL ist mühsamer als das eines einfachen Putzlappens wofür es unzählige Gerätschaften auf d. Markte gibt. Ich schleuderte nun in diesem Eimer ein sehr voluminöses mit Wasser vollgesaugtes XXL Flies Hemds und dies gelang zumindest annähernd in etwa so wie das Ergebnis beim Anschleudern einer Waschmaschine. Kraftaufwand beim Kurbeln minimal, ein paar Umdrehungen, vermutlich weniger als eine Viertel Minute genügten. Ich bin nicht sehr kräftig. Allerdings muss man den Eimer schon gut festhalten. Es ist aber eine berechenbare Sache und man kann sich beim Kurbeln langsam vortasten. Ein kräftiger Mann erzeugt sicherlich ein sehr viel besseres SChleuderergebnis mit entsprechend rotierendem Eimer, als eine eher schwächliche Person wie ich. Ob und in wieweit das Wäschestück im gehängten Zustand evtl nach gewisser Zeit des Hängens beginnt nachzutropfen weiß ich nicht, dennoch konnte sich das Ergebnis sehen lassen. Ich hätte dies Ergebnis niemals von Hand mit dieser Leichtigkeit erzeugt. Das Hauptmanko sehe ich allerdings in der Kommunikation. Die Gebrauchsanweisung die ich zum Öffnen des Eimers nach Erhalt benötigt hätte befand sich leider im Eimer und so sind die Fehlgriffe und Produktschädigung die aus den Wertungen hervorgehen geradezu vorprogrammiert. Nimmt man sich etwas Zeit, studiert das Teil ohne Gewalt anzuwenden müsste es einwandfrei funktionieren u. auch ne Weile halten. Eine evtl Schwachstelle (aber nicht sicher) scheinen mir vielleicht die Saugnäpfe die sich bei meiner Verwendung in der Badewanne enorm festsaugten. Hier könnte ich mir nach gewisser Zeit Verlust / Abnutzungserscheinungen vorstellen, auch wenn man sie nach Gebrauch besonders vorsichtig vielleicht mit einem Hilfsgegenstand , schonend u. gewaltfrei löst, denn der Eimer bewegt sich schon, wenn z.B. nur ein dickes Wäschestück wie in meinem Fall drin ist, und das strapaziert diese Saugnäpfe sicherlich. Einfacher wirds wenn man kleinere Stücke, wie an sich ja auch gedacht, nimmt, gut verteilt und nicht überfüllt. Aber ich vermute dass das Stück selbst ohne die Saugnäpfe für gewisse Bereiche brauchbar bliebe, da an sich stabil Die Waschfunktion die ich auch probierte, benötige ich nicht, (viel mehr als Einweichen/SChleudern macht im Grunde keine Waschmaschine). (Ab und an manuell Wäsche umrühren nach langem Einweichen ist kein Problem, dafür brauch ich keine Maschine) Handhabung des Deckels fordert etwas Übung und Geschick, wenn man es gerafft hat kein Problem. Der Griff wird "abgeknickt" geliefert. Man ziehe ihn nur ganz leicht in Richtung des weiter entfernt liegenden Eimerrandes und richte ihn dann auf bzw. setze ihn in seine Halterung, und das wars. Am besten übt man die Handhabung des Deckels etwas vorsichtig im trockenen Zustand ohne jede Gewaltanwendung, dann sollte es keinerlei Probleme geben u. der Eimer dicht sein u. einwandfrei funktionieren. Im Einsatz hatte ich auch den Wringboy (Vermop Presseimer) der auch mit circa 40-50 Euro nicht gerade billig ist. Auch hier war das Ergebnis bereits eine enorme Hilfe, mehr als ein 1-2 Tshirts oder einen größeres Stück vollgesogener Funktionswäsche (Rolli?) packt dieser Eimer jedoch nicht da nur für Putzlappen konzipiert. Das Ergebnis scheint mir bei der Schleuder Einiges besser zu sein, wobei bereits der Putzeimer besser ist als nichts. Ich sehe hier eine klare Marktlücke, da, wer an der Luft trocknen kann, keine "Extremschleuder" braucht die die Wäsche auch entsprechend strapaziert und zerstört. Eine manuelle Presse oder Handschleuder wie diese passt in diese wenig beachtete Marktlücke
