Although it’s weak as a stick. I heard from Rufus. That it’s very cheap and lots of complaints. So I got a solution. If you have ideas for straight end mounts only instead of 90 and the ball does not lock in place very much even at 90 degrees Once you straighten the screw ball with a level or 90 degrees . Don’t lock it much, and jb weld the ball all around it. Be careful not to touch the lock screw. You will need that. And jb weld around the screws holes and the rest of the inside all the way in the middle. Be careful of the threads That’s it. This mount is american tough now!!!!! This is very cool for my idea I want for my wall projector. Especially in tough situations. You dont want a weak mount. Cheers!

I used this to mount my little "coffee can" projector to my ceiling, pointing straight down at my fabric cutting table. The projector weighs barely over a pound, so this mount was equipped to handle it. Installation was easy, the needed parts were all included and worked fine. I liked that this could be taken apart to make installing the base plate a little easier, as well as attaching the projector to the mounting bolt thingy without having to do that with it attached to the ceiling. I would note, though, that this thing is described as being fully lockable, but as I have it mounted, the projector can still rotate on the x-axis, and there's no way to lock it down so that won't happen. Don't know if I got a dud or what. I don't anticipate it being a problem for me, as the position of this projector is not going to need to be adjusted and there's no reason to expect it to rotate on its own. (This might not be the case if the projector is beaming horizontally.) But this critter was only $7, so I wasn't expecting rocket science-level precision. It does what I need it to do.

Brilliant for the money!

Feels cheap but ended up working decently well. Was going to return but decided to try it first, and it feels secure. I just hope nothing slowly unscrew and drops the protector on ours head while we are sitting on the couch under it!!! Will update if that’s happens and I survive it lol
