It is only suitable for indoor use. You can buy the Netatmo outdoor camera with siren but it currently cannot be linked to the sensors in any way and it is only possible to manually trigger the outdoor camera siren from your phone (currently). **Q: as an accessory to the camera, are there any distance restrictions in terms of where these can be located within the house?** A: The sensors communicate with the camera via radio long range, they are suitable for large homes. **Q: Does this system rely on "the cloud" being available all the time?** A: Yes and no. The unit will function without cloud connectivity and will trigger any alerts, recordings, siren alarms etc that have already configured (with compatible Netatmo products). That said, if your Netatmo Camera (to which these connect to) does not have cloud connectivity, you will not be able to reconfigure these sensors or receive alerts and notifications to your mobile/PC. You will however receive a notification immediately if your camera loses connectivity with the cloud so you’ll know the Camera needs attention. **Q: Can I use each one in a different location? Or should they work all tougher in the exact geo-location?** A: I have put the 3 of them on different doors in the house, and they work very well, however it is on the same geolocation.
