Some DIY skill required
Solid piece of kit but some people would struggle to fit it. Good to see that it comes with special security screws

Great device - many uses - arrived on time

Broken
I ordered one and it worked fine. So ordered a second one, and it didn't work at all - the lock was broken. Luckily I tested it before attaching to the window! Waste of money.

Key(s) are terrible. Screw-head is very odd.
Locking concept = 5. Simple enough to understand, should be easy install.Installation = 4. Mark & drill some pilot holes, screw in base/lock piece, screw in latch piece - lock as needed (right?). Issue for me - screw-head type - only worked with a plain slotted screwdriver - but didn't grip screwdriver easily - it has a weird sloped face/edge that allows tightening (CW) easier than loosening (CCW) - but neither very well. enough to bi*ch about itcable/keys/lock = 2/0/2. Cable is short (expected) and 'springy' (un-expected). When unlocked, the bullet end of the cable can whip about and slap the glass. Keys - terrible, received 2 keys; 1 key, i cannot get into the lock at all. 2nd key - slides 3/4 into lock - and then takes 5-10 minutes of jiggling/twisting/pulling/pushing/praying - to get the rest of the fraction of the key in - so that you can lock/unlock the bullet end. Maybe the problem is with the lock & not the keys ...Got it installed (so, window is child proofed) - and don't care to try to unlock it again.
