HIBLOW HP-80 Pond Aerator/ Septic Linear Air Pump

After a service company quoted me $800 to replace the aerator on my aerobic system—assuming I wouldn’t know any better—I decided to handle it myself. The replacement arrived within a day, was quiet, easy to install, and works perfectly. My last one lasted eight years, and I’m hopeful this one will do the same. While this pump works well and was easy to install. It was the old version and in my mind should have been sold as an old version.

I have had this unit running 24/7 for months now, aerating a farm pond to help keep the water clear. It is quiet, draws very little power, and puts out a significant amount of air. I have it attached to a weighted diffuser with several "arms', and there is about a 2 foot wide circle of constant bubbling near the middle of the pond...just what I was hoping for. The unit sits out close to the pond...in the open. I have it where where it won't be sitting in water after a heavy rain...raised on a block...but other than that, it has been through rain, snow, lightning storms etc...and it came through with flying colors.

Rebuilt my HIBLOW HP-80 for the 3rd time that I've had for 22 years a couple days ago. Ran for ~ an hour and shut down. It pretty much said "sorry, boss, but I'm tired and you'll be better off with a newer unit". Ordered this one and was shipped the next day and runs like a champ! Plus, it's the best price out there.

Nobody likes messing with a septic system so it is worth getting name brand aerator pumps. Hiblow is the name you can trust. We have been in our current home for 12 years and in that time, we had to rebuild our hiblow once and now replace it with the exact same pump. I figured who can complain with the reliability of an aerator pump that works so well. Our existing pump ran trouble free for about 7 years before we had to put a rebuild kit in it. The rebuild kit was about 70 bucks and was very simple to install. I did it myself in about 15mins. When it failed again recently, I decided it was time for a new pump as ours was 12 years old and had already been rebuilt once. The new pump was so easy to install, it took me no time at all. Since it was the exact same model, I expect to get the same great service from this one. Not much else to say about this. The first hiblow was great and the replacement is the same model so i expect the same great service from this one. One added perk was it was scheduled to arrive in 2 days but showed up in 1 day!

Good quality, low noise. I use it for sceptic utility. I need the ORIGINAL repair kit, and the filters in order to be able to change them every year. Best regards,

I bought this product to replace a failed air pump for aerating a septic tank. This unit is far smaller than the one I had. Very happy with my purchase.I bought a rebuild kit as well as my last unit was not rebuildable.
