This fan is the perfect replacement for the original fan in my Dell laptop. Form, fit, cable lengths, etc. mirrored exactly the original fan. Although I had initially used the edge of an old credit card to open the case of my laptop before the fan arrived, the replacement fan actually came with the proper tools for doing that, including a small Phillips screw driver for handling the screws that held the fan in place. The replacement fan has been working now---quietly and efficiently---for weeks. I'm extremely pleased with the results, the ease with which the replacement was made, and especially the great low price offered by Amazon.

My HP laptop started making noise whenever the CPU was being taxed (meaning, whenever the fan switched on). A little bit of research and I found a couple of videos on how to replace the fan, and pointing me to this fan. It's a bit of a pain taking the laptop apart, but not incredibly difficult (Thank you HP, glad you're not Apple), and the actual swapping of the fan was easy-peasy. It's been a number of months now (I rarely do reviews immediately after buying something) and it's been running fine and quietly and without any issues.

This replacement cooling fan fit perfectly in a Dell Inspiron 5770 (17" display, i7 8th gen processor, manufactured in December 2017). The quality is better than the original, this has more cooling fins (better than OEM) on this replacement. This also resolved overheating lock ups, cooling and noise issues we were having with the original failing fan. Remote learning, School work and certainly Gaming are working without issues again.

Popped open the case on my Dell Inspiron 5575, unscrewed the old fan, unplugged it, plugged in the new fan and screwed it in place...and it works. Nice and quiet, I've added years to the lifespan of this machine. Simple, and it works. 4 star on noise because, while it's no louder than the old fan at maximum load, it's not any quieter either. Ease of installation NEVER goes above 4 stars on a laptop component because laptops are inherently fussy beasts with small spaces my fat sausage fingers simply aren't designed for.

Was quiet and good replacement for a broken one

I've ordered some tech stuff from amazon and it's hit and miss. So far this one seems like a hit. It was an exact match for my dell inspiron 1500 5570 series. I didn't realize how loud my fan had become and one day I realized it sounded like it was on its last leg. I received this fan in a day, installed it, and it was a perfect fit and replacement. It's quiet to just above a whisper even when it really spins up. The pictures are of the old fan as a reference to what you will receive. So far so good. If it quits in too short of a time I'll bump the review down a star or two but so far so good.

System was throwing fan error while booting. Fan was spinning but not at high rpm’s when processor gets hot. Used this replacement which was exact fit and design. Happy so far as there was no issues changing. Replacing and plugging is what you expect but makes less noise than original and working good so far. Will see how it goes long term!

Wrong size?? for dell 15" 5570 inspirion it appears this is the wrong size. yes, the 3 attach holes match, but the size is smaller. And it does not appear to have a "lip" to slide under existing hardware. Do I need a different fan? Thanks

J'ai acheté ce ventilateur pour mon Dell Inspiron 15570 et au bout de deux mois je commence à entendre de nouveau le ventilateur qui grésille et qui fait du bruit... Je vais devoir en racheter un bientôt.. Énervant!

購入して1年半ほどの DELL Inspiron 15 3505 から異音が出るようになり、しばらくそのまま使ううちに我慢ならないほどの騒音に。 開けて確認すると予想通りのファンからの異音を確認。 DELLのサポートに依頼すると費用も時間もかかるようなので、この商品を購入して自分で交換。 元通りの静寂さに。 中国製にためらいはあったものの、このタイプが中国製以外に見つけられずにこの商品を購入。 問題無く装着出来、交換後1か月たちますが問題無く稼働しており、コスト面も含めて満足。 追記 付けはずし用の小さなドライバーと、コネクターを外す（ためのものと認識）プラスチックのコテのようなものが付属していましたが、このコテのようなもので楽にコネクターを外すことが出来て、意外と有能でした。
