Very reliable, durable, and quiet
I've had one of these fans running non-stop for over a year at this point. I have this fan in the window of the bathroom where I keep my cat's litter box. It's the perfect size for the small privacy window in that bathroom. The airflow keeps the cat box smells from freezing the rest of the house. It's very quiet and doesn't bother me despite being in the room next to my bedroom. I even dropped it into the porcelain tub by mistake, and it still continued to run for over a year.

Window fan! No assembly required, easy install, lightweight plastic
Ladies, I did it myself. It fits in my bathroom window with just enough room for the rear louvers to open, with my window screen behind it. I purchased air conditioner louvers on amazon and used scissors to cut them to size; includes tape for attaching to fan. This fan is everything I hoped it would be. I bought a long electrical cord to get it across the Bathroom, but I was able to conceal Most of it it very nicely with decor and crossed above the sink lights. This fan does not have an on off switch, it has a pull string. In the advertisement photos, the manufacturer note indicates that any damages to the fan will be caused by Amazon’s poor delivery. If this fan arrives damaged it will most likely be caused by the manufacturer before shipping, since the fan was well packed. Please note my fan arrived in perfect condition. This is a very loud, high powered fan. It pulls air out of the house very well as expected. However it does not blow much air in at all. I think there might be a flaw in the fin design for incoming air. It has a reverse by pulling the string. There are no additional fan speed controls. I like the louvers to keep hot summer air out during the day, open at night for some fresh air. Sadly, I need better fresh air flow coming into the bathroom.

Works great!
Initially i was a bit hesitant on purchasing this specific unit. But works better than i had anticipated. Works perfect for old bathrooms that do not have exhaust vents like in my case. It also pulls cool air from outside very good. Cons: 1. Unplugging unit will not close the rear shutters. So shutters stay open. 2. Unit should’ve included a Screen Mesh on the grill for those that would prefer to leave shutters open at all times and not have to touch the string. In my case I installed a screen mesh behind grill for the mosquitoes 🦟 3. The string pull can be annoying sometimes when cycling through shutter, on, off, vent etc. But overall great product gets the job done. Strong fan for its size and quality.

"Exhaust" function I needed
Attic bedroom REALLY needed an exhaust fan! While we've used a window model to pull heat out during the day, the bring cool air in at night, only one window was installed high enough to pull the heat accumulated at the ceiling. We didn't build the house but I sure would have done it differently if we had. I read the reviews and the mfr instructions that this fan is ONLY for *wall installation*! but we already had a hole in the ceiling where the stovepipe (from the wood stove downstairs - that we removed) went, so I thought "what's the worst that can happen if we put it in the ceiling?" It's an absolutely perfect fit! We removed the "metal frame" for the stovepipe, cut the hole about a half inch larger on one side for the 10" fan, screwed the fan mounting into the wood framing like it was made for this fan. The ceiling placement is near the light switch w/ an electrical outlet BUT the fan's electrical cord would be perfect IF IT WAS 12 INCHES LONGER! As it is, I had to mount an extension cord to the wall. We only use the "exhaust" function to suck the heat accumulated at the ceiling outside - I can only imagine the "creepy crawly" things the fan would bring in... The shutters work perfectly (after clearing away insulation that could obstruct opening and closing). We've had it running practically 24/7 since installing it and it's kept the bedroom 10° to 15° cooler! Personally, I like the "white noise" of the fan, so I can't complain about it. On the other hand - since the fan is close to the TV, and husband watches TV upstairs, he has to turn up the volume 🤷♀️ meh, it's fine. So, turns out you can indeed mount it in the ceiling without terrible repercussions! Great fan for the price, easy to install, and works well. I gave it 5 stars but would dock it half a star for the short electrical cord - c'mon guys, would another foot kill you?

Cheaply made POS
I was so desperate to get a fan to alleviate the mold situation in our bathroom. We live in a pre-war, old building with ZERO ventilation. After a while of shopping for window fans on Amazon, i settled for this one, since my window is too small for the larger and higher quality ones. For about 3 weeks, this thing worked amazing with no issues-it was relatively quiet, sucked all the steam out of the bathroom, and kept the condensation from building excessively. That is, of course, until I had to turn it off. I want to specify, I did not YANK the cord to turn it off, I simply pulled on the cord to turn it off. It switched off, and just never switched back on again. Save your $40 and buy a different fan. Or only buy this thing if you literally never plan on having to turn it on or off. Whoever decided to design this thing with a cheap pull cord is just not a smart individual. Not to mention the quality of the fan itself is terrible as well-you can feel it as soon as you take it out of the box.

Easy to install if your site is prepped etc. Does the job fine, what more is there to say? Quality of finish is good and the unit feels sturdy enough.

Ottimo in estrazione, mentre in aspirazione inutile.
