The bridge connected automatically to my WiFi without any issues. I can connect from anywhere to see if my door is locked. The fact that I can lock or unlock from anywhere is great. I really like this feature. The lock itself is another issue. The finger touch is a bit quirky. It doesn’t always work. Most times I have to try two or three times to open the door. The away auto lock feature is nice. It seems to work as described. The Auto Unlock feature works but I have to wait a few seconds after I’m close to the lock for it to activate. I wish it would unlock from a further distance so the door is unlocked when I get to it. I have been using the lock only for a few days so I think the jury is still out on the lock. 2/23/24

As what the product description states that we can work on the app remotely outside of house miles away through internet connection. It's very convenient and powerful. I can authorize to a temporary user with specified time and dates. I even can remotely unlock the lock but the unlock time is very short that may only valid for 2-3 seconds. I can do all things through the app remotely without to be near the lock 3 meters within. When I add the new use with the same ID prefix with all zeros, when I tap on the sync user, the app is smart enough to consolidate both same user that I crated through the lock setting that doesn't require 4 digit but just one digit ID into one same user. The issue I found is that from time to time there appears "User 0" that is ghost user when I tap on the sync user. When I tap on that user, the app terminated by itself. Remember, to use this remote control, you need to go taping on the lock tab to get the internet synced. This part of work is little bit tricky. The connection usually take time to get synced. Once it gets synced, the connect may lost easily if you move away your location even just few steps even though you are right next either the bridge device, lock or wifi router. I find checking the log remotely most practical to me. I can know who and when which user enter the house at anytime and at anywhere. I love the feature of getting notification through email when particular user is unlocking the lock; unfortunately, the setup cannot be complete after tapping the the "next" button when finishing filling all the valid fields in the form, it states "Notice Time out, please try again!" No matter how many times I have tried, it just never succeed and keep seeing the same message. The other wonderful feature I can use through the app is adding user with the code and fingerprints without keep punching the door lock's keypad. The only confuse part is the instruction states to press the fingerprints for 2 times while the indicators shows 6. After contacted the vendor and realized the instruction has not been updated and should just tap for 6 times instead of 2. Overall, I am pretty happy with it and satisfy the features. Love to be able to use it remotely from anywhere anytime!

Worked about 3 months, now won’t stay connected to WiFi. Have to reboot it every two days. Terrible reliability. To U-tec's credit, they addressed the problem by sending me a replacement bridge. Let's hope the first one was just a fluke!

Originally purchased in 2022. In May 2025 our bridge stopped working when we changed internet service. I contacted ultraloq customer service and they had me run a few tests. Bridge didn't respond so they sent me a new one free of charge. I was impressed by that gesture and thankful I didn't have to buy an entirely new lock system!

Got the lock without the WiFi adaptor. After installing the lock and using it, I decided to get the WiFi adaptor for it. Took just a few minutes to setup and it worked immediately. I located the adaptor right next to the door with the lock. The adaptor is 32 inches from the lock. After using wifi to control the lock, the adaptor lost network connection. The adaptor is 10 feet from my router/modem and has a clear line of site. I had reset the adaptor and go into the app and delete the adaptor and reinstall the adaptor. This got the adaptor back online with the network and lock. The very next time I used the app to access the lock, the same thing happened again. The adaptor lost network connection. This lock is being used in my Florida home and I was looking forward to having control of the lock during the summer months when not there. So right now, I pre-programmed the lock with 4 entry codes for service personnel and I'm not using the wifi adaptor because I can't take the chance of it disabling my lock. This is very disappointing and I cannot recommend this lock with the wifi gateway. The lock works great without the wifi, but I needed the wifi to work during the summer and during my absence.

I purchased this bridge to use with an Ultraloq that uses Matter. I wanted to be able to connect to the lock from outside my home using Wi-Fi. I installed the lock and the bridge, but could not get it to work with Google Assistant. Had to put in a ticket with Ultraloq support. They apparently updated the firmware on the bridge, and then Google Assistant began working. Occasionally the bridge will lose its connection and need to be rebooted. This is a pain. Hopefully it doesn't happen next time I'm away from home and need to connect to the lock. Hopefully in the future as more Matter devices become available I can replace this one-trick pony with a Wi-Fi-to-Matter hub. Until then, I must rely on it.

Simple item to setup. Took very little time. I purchased this unit to use with an Ultraloq U-Bolt Smart Lock.

was easy to setup with the application and to pair it with my deadbolt. allows me to lock and unlock using Alexa as well using the application all over my house.

Me llego en caja abierta, y con claras marcas de uso, claramente fue una devolucion este producto que me llego, desconozco por que lo abran devuelto el primer cliente, pero despues de realizar la configuracion de manera correcta, el dispositivo ha funcionado muy bien, me gustaria decir que de manera excelente, pero si se ha desconectado un par de veces, pero hasta ahorita nada que no se pueda resolver de manera rapida y sencilla.
