Star Wars The Black Series Boba Fett Premium Electronic Helmet, The Empire Strikes Back Full-Scale Roleplay Collectible

Paid just over £100 for this helmet, and I have to say I was shocked just how good the quality is. It's made of plastic, but it's very sturdy but not overly heavy, and the paint scheme is very well done and quite faithful to Boba Fetts look. The fit is excellent and for the price, it's a steal if you want a great display piece, or a cosplay helmet. And it's Boba Fett, you can't get any better than Boba Fett, that's just fact. 😎

I was a little reluctant to buy this item through Amazon as the last Black Series helmet I ordered from them wasn't even shipped in a protective cardboard box, it just had my address stuck on the collector's edition box (ruining it for collectors) and was left on my doorstep for any passing person to spot. The Boba Fett helmet, thankfully, came in a cardboard box and it didn't look like it was a repackaged return (Amazon has a bad habit of doing this). At first I was a little concerned that the helmet didn't fit my massive head. My eyes didn't line up with the eye spaces and my fat chin was hanging out of the bottom. It was as badly fitting as my 1977 Star Wars T-shirt would be if I tried to put it on today. There were some instructions on how to change the size of the inside plastic cage, but that made no difference. It was only going online that I realised that you could remove the cage entirely... so now my big fat head fits inside as intended. It's a little too roomy, if I'm honest, but it's no problem to just fashion some cushioning to get it to fit perfectly. The details on the helmet are incredible. If you've owned any of the other Boba Fett helmets that have been released over the years, you'll be impressed at how much better this is - in every respect. The flip-down viewfinder with flashing LED lights and an illuminated rangefinder HUD is pretty impressive too. Sure it's only two blinking lights but it just adds that extra touch. Well worth the money - as are all of this Black Series helmets

OK so lets get something out of the way for around £100 i wouldn't call this a toy, nor is it really a cosplay type helmet as there a few things out of place but that is only noticeable if you are a huge fan of Boba Fett and know where all the marks and dings on the helmet come from. firstly the pros The packaging is top notch and well cared for by amazon (also a con see below) It is great quality Well made Sturdy detailed more than i thought it would be and looks great backlit on my shelf. You can pretend to be Boba Fett....I mean.....what else do you need to know? You can run around and pew pew like you are Boba Fett! Saying things like "he's no good to me dead" etc. (the above actions may make certain people become disappointed in you, not mad just disappointed) There are a couple of cons but nothing i would say is a game changer The price, because of the nature of the product the prices change, it is however not cheap but I picked this up on black friday so got it at a way better price, but for the normal asking price it would of required a little more thought. The fit is a little tight, I may have a huge head but with the adjustments made i can just about make it fit but it is not comfortable really. The inner box did have a sticker on it that damaged the box slightly, this would not usually bother me but since some people collect these items and keep them boxed i thought it worth mentioning. You will at some point probably pretend to be Boba Fett and run around pew pewing someone and that someone may not be as impressed with it as you were.

These black series helmets are nothing but COOL and QUALITY high end collectables at a reasonable price range, the full size replica Boba Fett helmet looks amazing on display with the others, great paint detail and amazing quality build, still must be careful though you wouldn't want to drop it, even though its wearable I would only display this piece, if its handled too much then its bound to have something crack or fall off! it takes one battery for the light on the front that flips down other than that it doesn't do much, its just to look cool on display with your other favourite Star Wars stuff! I have a pretty big head and it just fits so the size should fit all, a must for the collection indeed.

What a great helmet for the price £99.99 it really good looks the part . On really close inspection you can tell the paint job is of a mass produced helmet but that’s because it is and it’s cheap. A lot of people moan because it not screen accurate but it’s a mass produced “toy” helmet the inside is awesome and for all those people who say it don’t fit you know you can adjust the inside strap I have a big head and it fits fine . So for the price it’s amazing I have an RS Propmasters Boba Fett helmet too and until you get close you really can’t tell the difference well apart from the paint jobs one is return of the Jedi and the other one is from empire strikes back . A must to add to a collection especially for the price .

Great toy at a fair price. It is a toy but a very good one and though not cheap it is as good as youll get for the price. Goes well with a mandalorean blaster and back pack. Perfect gift for a 10 year old but no yonger due to weight. Also good luck getting the batter in and out.

For the price it’s an excellent display piece. Quality’s good. Only thing is they could have improved the rangefinder attachment design to be easier, feels like it’ll get damaged when removing.

I got this for my son's 40th Birthday. He has been a huge Star Wars fan since he was a kid. He once saw a Boba Fett helmet in the Cash Converters window. He wanted to take the day off school the next day to get it with his saved up birthday money. We went straight from school the next day, it was gone. He was heartbroken. He knew when we handed him the box, what was inside. His face lit up when he opened it. His dream had finally come true. Nerd boy happy. Mum moderately redeemed.

La impresión general al tener el casco delante es buena, proporciones correctas y buen nivel de detalle reproducido del original. Por ejemplo: el 'borden connector', esa pieza redonda con tres agujeros a la izquierda del visor, está reproducida en metal, buen detalle!; choca el peso que tiene para ser plástico, pero añade una sensación agradable al manipularlo, debe ser porque el interior va forrado con multitud de placas con mucho detalle y al final tienes una doble pared. Del interior me ha sorprendido que todas esas almohadillas cuadradas sean blanditas y no se limiten a ser parte de la placa de plástico duro inyectado. La construcción del visor (totalmente oscuro, no deja ver nada del interior ofreciendo una visibilidad clara) y como se cierra en la parte interna con un refuerzo en X también da mucha solidez a una parte que podría ser muy frágil. En la parte no tan buena diré que el color es un tanto apagado con respecto al casco original, en el caso de los verdes se ven ligeramente oscuros pero el rojo está muy deslucido y lo mismo el rayado amarillo de la derecha. La manera de reproducir los desconchones de la pintura mediante calcomanías, aunque es genial (se puede reproducir el desgaste con gran fidelidad al original manteniendo un patrón regular en todas las copias) sin embargo una vez más, el metal se ve muy deslucido, siendo más correcto hablar de un gris sin brillo, aunque sigue teniendo esa sensación de profundidad, de capas, que da el casco original. Si buscas una réplica de un casco de Boba Fett verás que el tema de la pintura es una de las cosas que más horas de trabajo consume y encarece el producto. Así que con todo, en el juguete que nos ocupa está resuelto de manera ingeniosa para ofrecer algo realmente parecido al original. El tema de la parte electrónica de la antena/telemetro le añade otro plus. Los dos leds parpadeantes están genial y como pequeño añadido está la retícula iluminada, que al igual que el interior del casco es una licencia que se han tomado pero que le añade simpatía. El caso es que en el estante se ve genial; se puede criticar si, pero la otra opción es gastarte unos 700€ en un casco de Boba Fett; éste esta alrededor de los 120 y es muy resultón. La pena es que nadie jugará con ellos! :)

Prodotto veramente eccezionale per i fan di Star Wars. Il casco arriva all’interno della scatola originale a sua volta contenuta nel pacco Amazon. La replica è ben fatta e curata nei minimi dettagli, infatti è identica a quella presente nei film, inoltre essendo in scala 1:1 è indossabile e grazie alla cinghietta interna si può regolare in maniera da essere adattato meglio alla testa. Mettendo le pile (non incluse) quando si abbassa il mirino si accendono i led (molto belli da vedere). Piccoli difetti: una volta incastrata l’antenna nel casco, difficilmente si può rimuovere. Per chi ha la testa un po’ grande viene difficile vedere bene anche se la cinghia interna è regolata. Il prezzo è un po’ eccessivo per il prodotto in sé.. Sorvolati questi piccoli difetti, il prodotto è fantastico!!! Consigliato per i fan di star Wars

Pre ordered because it seemed like this one would be harder to find in the future and it looked really good for the price. This is still mostly true after receiving it. The actual helmet itself is very nice, itd made out of solid material, the interior is nice and the visor is fitted perfectly. This is pretty hard to accomplish on even good fan buckets without spending a lot of time in my experience so good on them for that. The paintjob is pretty good, not perfectly accurate but definitely very good for a mass produced item with the type of high detailed job a Boba helmet requires. But this is definitely the area where it will pale in comparison to a real high quality handmade one. It will be very obvious, the layers just arent really present and the silver metal color doesnt sheen like you would expect. They definitely made an effort to make it FEEL layered though, the helmet feels really nice to touch, but when looking at it you can tell it isnt. The other negative I can point out is that the earpiece for the rangefinder is made of a different kind of plastic as the rest of the helmet. You can feel and see the difference in reality, which is slightly jarring. I imagine this is to accomodate the fact that it is removable so that you can access the battery underneath it. It feels pretty fragile to be honest. Fortunately because it is removable you can probably just upgrade it to a higher quality earpiece rather easily if you wanted. I should mention that the opposite earpiece appears to be made of the same material as the rest of the helmet, it looks and feels great. The last relatively minor inaccuracy is that the brow is missing the "bent" section that the real deal has. Its perfectly straight. With these minor negatives out of the way, I still say this is an amazing piece. Just look at that cost, to get something even close to it you'd be spending 200 minimum and you're gonna be painting it yourself. It may not be accurate enough for the ultra hardcore and keen eyed, but its certainly good enough for everyone else and can easily upgraded to be far more accurate. Good helmet
