Feyachi Reflex Sight - Adjustable Reticle (4 Styles) Both Red and Green in one Sight!

This RS-29 sight is a great value. Seems solid, easy to mount, easy to adjust and operate, optics were clear. Both red and greed dots were sharp. I was able to zero it in for my shotgun. Time will tell if it holds zero, seems good so far. There is a set screw to tighten up to help hold the horizontal zero, fyi. There are a couple negatives, totally acceptable considering this is only 20% of name brand sights. There appears to be a very small point if aim shift between the different reticles, perhaps an inch. Also, the larger non dot reticles can be a bit too bright even on the lowest setting in a dimly lit environment. My first sight had a minor flaw - cross hair reticles weren't quite level. Customer service shipped me a replacement right away, and it this one is good. I never leave Amazon reviews, but decided to leave one because of the great customer service .

Don't buy this reflex sight with the expectation of going on deployment with it and I think you'll be generally happy with the value it provides. Why 4 stars? A couple of nits to pick but I would give it 4.5 stars if that were an option. The battery fits in the middle of the reticle power dial. The battery cap tends to come loose when you turn the sight power off. Yes you can tighten the cap or even use some mild thread locker, however unless you have 6 year old sized fingers, the serrated edges of the cap are pretty hard to avoid, especially if you were under stress in a defensive situation. The other issue I have with it are the click adjustments on all the dials, including the reticle zeroing, are as mushy as a politician's campaign promises. What do I like? The sight co-witnesses with iron sights on the AR platform. I used the iron sights as a zero template before I went to the range and that put me on paper. I like the reticle selection. I also like the choice between red and green. I like that it's relatively light weight. I like that it uses CR2032 batteries. I'm only 100 rounds into it and I didn't smack the sight around, so durability and zero hold are questions in my mind for the long-term. However, for this kind of money, I think you can't go wrong as long as you understand what you're buying. My initial thoughts are that I was a bit surprised at the quality of the sight in a good way given the low cost.

Weird to adjust at first. Once it got going it was alright. The reticle is easy to change out and bright enough for a range day. It lasted a good few hours so far, will have to report after another range day how well battery lasts. Easy to line up & work with after adjustment period.

My brother-in-law told me about a reflex sight he mounted on a 30-30 to use on varmints and pests on his rural Texas property. I had never heard of reflex sights but was intrigued by the idea. When I purchased a Feyachi rifle scope I was offered a discount for purchase of a red and green dot reflex sight with a laser spotter, so I bought one to give it a try. I mounted it on an old Remington Apache .22 LR semi-automatic nylon stock rifle. I've shot with it several times at a 70 yard target range since the purchase about two months ago. I love the reflex sight concept. You can locate targets very quickly and the accuracy is a least as good as careful aiming with iron sights. This type of sight would be very useful at ranges up to 50 yards, even against fairly small targets. At 70 yards I can usually put rounds in a 6 in. target. I haven't used the laser so I can't say much about it other than the visible range isn't much under bright daylight conditions. However, it should be quite visible in low light conditions. I may mount this sight on my home defense shotgun at my house in Texas. I'm also thinking of replacing the scope on my 30-06 hog gun with one of these. I'm a new fan of reflex sights and the Feyachi sights are an excellent value. And by the way, Feyachi customer service is excellent. P.S. I purchased another Feyachi RS-29 reflex sight and installed it on my H&R Pardner home defense 12 Ga. shotgun. See attached photos 3 & 4. I zeroed it at 25 yards with rifled slugs and got good groups on an 8 in. target. I'm still convinced this type sight is the best alternative for 50 yards or less for medium size or large targets, allowing quick target access. As mentioned above, I've also had good results at 70 yards with the Remington Apache .22LR semiauto. Feyachi is an excellent value in the reflex sight market.

I'm going to preface my review of this product with a positive views of the company. I previously owned their RDS-22 red dot sight; it was on my Ruger 10/22. It was a great little red dot that allowed my older eyes to turn the rifle into a relative tack driver. It's optics were good, the dot very crisp and clear, no stars or blurriness. I sold the rifle, and sold the sight to a friend. That experience motivated me to purchase this reflex sight by Feyachi, along with reviews that contended that they had great customer service, replacing products that didn't work right. I have no reason to dispute that. But I didn't give them the chance in this case. I received the RS-29 a few days ago, and installed it on a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 on a Picatinny rail. It seemed solidly built, like the RDS-22 had been. But when I turned it on and tried it out, I was shocked at how bad the reticles looked. All of them, in both colors. The dots were starred, meaning there were points of light sticking out of the main dot on three sides. The circle dot was even worse; they looked like 2 or 3 dots inside of 2 or 3 circles that didn't line up, like orbits that overlapped. Similar distortions for the other two reticles. I briefly considered contacting the company about it, but realized the reflex was way too large for my pistol. I had the dimensions of it before I purchased, but I guess it didn't sink in how large it was. For a rifle, I think the size would have been fine, but for my pistol, it was too large. So I returned it. Got my refund today. I'll get another reflex sight, but next time, will spend over 4X as much on a Swampfox Kingslayer. It's a true micro red dot with good reviews for sharp, crisp dots.

The Feyachi RS-29, Red & Green reflect sight is great and works perfectly...even after 100's of rounds with my AR15. Hold the target perfectly. I haven't had to adjust it yet. This is my 3rd purchase. The 1st one purchased is installed on my CZ Scorpion Micro, the 2nd on my 7.5 inch PSA AR 15 .556 Pistol and this one will be installed on my 7.5 inch PSA .300 Blackout. All three of the systems are for home defense... the Feyachi RS-29, Red & Green reflect sight will sit between my Green laser/light combo on my top rail and in front of my Magpul flip up sight. Such an awesome combination I cloned the set up to all 3 of my systems. Love the sight. The package was missing the lens cover but I contacted the seller, who responded very quickly and said that they will send out a replacement in 5-7 days. I will let you know if for some reason it doesn't show up but I will have faith in the seller. Update: I received the replacement for the missing cover piece for the reflex sight. Feyachi held true to their warranty and service. Since the first review, I shot my 300 Blackout at the range and the sight held its zero....funny enough, I had a laser sight on my system as well that did not hold its mark and was returned. I also shot it for a second time this weekend and it was still on the mark. Once again...A great reflex sight.

Before you waste a bunch of ammo zeroing this POS read this. Do this test: first do a very rough co-witness using the dot and your irons. Don’t use ammo and don’t spend a lot of time either because I’m about to reveal why this thing is a piece of crap. Ok, now that you have the dot roughly in the top center of your front post, take your right hand and put your finger on right side of the metal frame that surrounds the glass. Now push the metal frame to the left with your your finger (Do it semi-aggressively) It will move. It moves because if you look underneath you’ll notice some springs. Unfortunately the springs do not go back into place after you push them and now your dot is way the hell off of your zero (nor do they go back into place after you bump it, or put it in a case, or shoot it for any length of time). I found this out because on day one I had a perfect 50 yard zero. (And yes, I tightened down the adjustment lock after zeroing). The very next day is was 2 feet off to the left. A buddy of mine who works at my shooting range told me he bought the same one and he basically walked me through what I just instructed you to do.

Some people get confused what this type of sight does, so let's clear that up first. Sights like this one use LED light and a semi-mirrored lens to project a aiming reticle that when looking through the lens appears to be at an infinite distance from you. Like a laser sight, it's somewhat similar to use and can still get washed out by brightly lit surfaces, but unlike a laser the reticle's visibility isn't dependent on the distance to the target or what colour the target is. Now on to my review. For the price this thing seems like an incredible deal, especially seeing reviews from other gun owners saying they've fired hundreds of rounds with one on and it still holding up well. It was well packaged compared to the $100 option from Firefield I was considering picking up from a local shop. Unlike that other one which for some reason only comes in a blister pack, this actually came in a decent quality 2-piece box with the optic itself inside covered in bubble wrap. Interestingly, it also came with two different sized hex wrenches, probably a leftover from an older model as the smaller of the two has no use with this optic. Compared to a similar, and also typically more expensive, NcSTAR sight I owned in the past, the lens is nice and clear with minimal tinting, the reticles appear quite sharp and focused even with my mild astigmatism and the adjustments even let out very audible clicks. It's 100x better than the NcSTAR sight was on those points alone. Unfortunately my phone refuses to focus on the reticles at all, so there's no point in me including pics of them. While I generally prefer the red mode, the green option is certainly nice as being brighter in general it's much harder for it to be washed out on bright days, a problem I've had with red illuminated optics in the past. The NcSTAR reflex I previously mentioned only having a red LED was basically useless on very sunny days. While it seems fairly durable, I still wouldn't trust it on anything with much more recoil than a .223/5.56, maybe something in 7.62x39 but that's probably pushing it. I definitely would never put this on a 12 gauge since it's probably get demolished by the recoil, but who knows. For my use though, it should be perfectly fine being ran on my GSG-16 .22 rifle. This optic is just a great example of how something being cheap doesn't always mean it's bad. Edit: Several range trips later with somewhere around 600 rounds down range and it's holding up great. The initial bore sighting I did at roughly 25yds away was good enough for my use and it's so far held zero for me. Definitely a worthy optic for .22LR at least. I'll likely be getting one of Feyachi's micro tube style sights to try on one of my shotguns, I'm seeing some reports those might actually be able to handle 12 gauge recoil.

Held zero for many range trips, looks cool to - good brightness/ choice of reticle colour and easy to use. Only bad thing is doesn't really line up with magnifiers so had to return it, but if your looking for just a red dot sight this one is great.

I am impressed with the quality of this sight for the price. Only con so far is needing an allen wrench to adjust zero.
