what is ther largest wire gauge that caan be used?

I put in #2 wire on mine and soldered the connection, it fit snug and will easily carry the 400 amp I needed for quick connect jumper cables. I dont think you could get any larger than #2.

Would this work good on a car Audio system so I can just unhook it real quick and pull the system out?

It should, I get good connection with them

Will this plug into a Champion 12000lb. quick connect winch?

Yes. You just cut the power and ground cable between the unit and battery and clamp the copper connectors to the wires and insert them into the quick disconnectors.

I want to connect an electric trolling motor to a deep cell marine battery. Will these connectors suffice?

Yes we use them at work for the electric carts as a service disconnect. I will only add a bit of dielectric grease to to terminals if your usage will be in salt/brackish water. Finally be sure you get the correct amp rating. But these are used in the off road world for wrenches; I've even seen them on some roadside assistance vehicles to plug in jumper leads to jump a vehicle off.
