I had to buy this because I left my original Surface Pro 6 charger at my son's house when I went to visit over Christmas. I figured I'd leave that one there for when I visit and I bought this one. Works just good as the original charger and the bonus is it has a USB port if I need an extra!

For 15 dollars it does the job. My surface pro 3 is working again and I'm glad I didn't have to spend $90 for a genuine OEM product from Microsoft. I just got this so I don't know how long it will last but I'm sure if you take gentle care of it, it will work for a long time.

My factory charger went out and as a college student during finals week I was absolutely FREAKING OUT! So I ordered this and after 2 days it arrived. I thought it didn’t work because the light on the portal didn’t work but the charger charges my surface book 2 just fine.

I purchased this charging cable to replace the original that came with my Surface Pro. The original cable was much more pliable and was made with a much higher quality insulation. The cord I bought was not as durable. The cable has cracked at the base of the connection to the power block. If OSHA saw this cable they would tell me to throw it out! It has become a hazard and the wires are exposed.

You get what you pay for. I bought this at the end of December last year. Two months ago I started gettting the "Slow charger" message of an on from the Surface Pro. then it became pretty consistent. For last two weeks the tablet would give that message and barely charge to 50% over 24 hours. Two days ago It has started to work again and charge the Surface with out me getting the message. What did I expect for $9.99.

Works great with my Surface Pro 6. The old power supply wire develops a short in the connecting cable over time. This one replaced it with no issues. Seems a little sturdier than the original too. Gets pulled sometimes and doesn't break as easily as the original.

Worked great as a replacement for the cord that mysteriously walked away. It has worked well as a direct replacement without any issues 8 months later after daily charging and daily abuse from kids. But don’t drop it on the glass of the surface. (Not that this would ever happen.... ohhh wait it did) It has sharp corners and must weight just enough to shatter the screen. I wish I was making that up.
