Outstanding and simple controller
Been running in Arizona on a 20amp single fan and its performed 100% accurately. Its dead band and set on is always spot on. Make sure a few things people. A. Mount it in a high and dry place... This is the first cause of these things to fail! B. Mount it near the fuse panel where its not being subjected to heat over 150 constantly. This is the 2nd thing to cause failures. Follow those two rules and itll never die.

A universal option
I'd vouch for a 5. Mishimoto has been solid and clean cut in my experience. Of the available options I saw looking for fan controllers, this set appeared to be the most complete and straight-forward. Haven't done an install yet, will update, but first! I got this controller to help me with an old GM 3.1 60° V6. Not sure if this was an issue in later variants, but in my vehicle the fan dont kick on til the temp gauge hits around 220-230. Not *cool*. Secondary fan only operates when the air conditioner is running. Since this system is stand-alone I can leave the stock sensors in and just rewire the fans to this controller, make use of both of them. Hiccup though. 5/8 NPT thread for the temp sender on this engine, and for the life of me I couldn't find a way to adapt from this 3/8 up. Mishimoto just so happens to provide an adapter (also on amazon, separately, but only ~$25) which works with this controller's threaded fitting (didnt dig the idea of pushing one between radiator fins.) Its an inline nipple type fitting that gets cut into the radiator's inlet hose. So, its really getting me out of a pickle here. Really makes this option pretty universal when paired.

Issue with controller
Worked fantastic for about 2 days. Then it wont turn on unless you hold the controller in a particular angle and wiggle the wires around, then it only works for about 20 minutes before shutting off again. If you use the bypass wire it runs fine but then is obviously constantly on.

Cheaply Made Kit Components, But Works As Should.
Good product overall. It works, with exception that it is always burning through fuses (I went up to 50a and still blows them every other month or so). My determination is that the components are about a 5 out of 10 due to having a “cheaply made” quality to them (relay, connectors, etc). Overall it still function as should, minus blowing the fuses. I just keep a pack in the glove compartment and replace fuses when needed

Adjustable
Just installed it last night 11.1.22, appears to work ok for now, only time will tell how long it lasts or how well it performs. It was a bit pricey for what it is considering other brands were half its price but i already had a 1/8 npt thread hole so this was convenient, while other brands use 3/8 npt or 1/4 npt sensors ....

Overpriced Chinese Trash
I have tried 3 of these fan controllers and all 3 broke in the same exact way. Off the bat, I could tell it was junk and wish I hadn't wasted all the time running the wiring. The very first thing I noticed was that the plug did not at all fit in the controller. It took some serious force and a lot of aligning the spades just to get the damn plug in it. After a few uses, the temperature control goes out and the fan just stays on all the time when the ignition is turned on. I'm 100% sure it's wired correctly. The first one worked fine (fan came on at 185 degrees, cut off at 150 degrees) for the first 3 or 4 uses then started coming on full time with ignition power. When I tried to exchange it through Amazon, they made me go through Mishimoto for the warranty return. Mishimoto took over 2 weeks to send the replacement and made me pay a flat rate of $10 to exchange the piece of junk they sold me. As I was waiting on my warranty replacement, I got impatient and ordered another kit on Amazon because it would arrive the next day and I needed to get my truck back on the road. The second one did the exact same thing: worked for 3-5 uses then got stuck on all the time when ignition was powered on. The one they sent as warranty replacement FINALLY showed up and now it's doing the exact same thing as the first 2. Do not buy this overpriced CHINESE JUNK. I replaced these (after many hours of wiring/rewiring these stupid Mishimoto fan controllers) with a $21 Hayden 3652 Kit and everything is finally working reliably. These controllers are a complete waste of time. I would have thought they would at least ensure the warranty replacement they sent had been quality controlled to make sure the same crap didn't happen.

L'installation n'a pas posé de soucis. Le réglage de la température est simple mais le potentiomètre est sensible. Je recommande le produit.
