Hard to find a cane that’s actually one inch— otherwise it works great!
Wow, it’s awesome—really worked for beach walking. Only downside is I had to I buy 3 different canes until I found one that fit! Glad I didn’t give up, but this should be sold with a cane that works with the pad. It is a great product that allows people with mobility issues to enjoy walking on the beach!

Great in the Sand!
I don't write a lot of reviews, but wanted to help my fellow crutch users: Just prior to a tropical cruise, I broke my foot. I had been on crutches before and knew how difficult it was to use them in sand. We even thought about cancelling our cruise, but then I saw these. I was reluctant to order these as they are pricey, with a less-than-ideal return policy. That being said, I took the plunge, ordered them and was so happy I did. I found it easy to swap them for my regular crutch tips when it was time to go to the beach. I was very impressed with their stability in the sand, ocean, on rocks and rough cobblestones. They are rather heavy, so I would use them only on beach excursions or where rocky/rough conditions were expected- I would not use them for every day use. These saved our vacation and I am so happy I ordered them for our trip.

EX-Walk/SandPad All Terrain Stabilizer Cane Tip
This made it possible to walk on the beach with a cane when I had a broken leg. It was snug and a bit hard to get on the cane but it didn’t come off while using it so that’s a good thing!

A Must-Have for Soft Sand
Ordered these a few weeks ago for a beach trip that was planned before I knew I would be having foot surgery. Lol. I was nervous that I would spend my vacation stuck in the condo, but these pads passed the test today with flying colors. I added them to the bottom of my crutches and they performed as advertised! I was able to make it across both soft sand and packed sand. There was even a little hill that I had to go up and down in the soft sand and the sand pads held up great! No sinking at all. I find crutches somewhat difficult to use anyway and being on the sand didn't make it any easier, but without these pads there was no way I would be able to make it across the sand. These things saved my vacation!

Worked great in the sand and calm water!
I have had difficulty walking in the sand or uneven terrain for many years. I had a left TKR and found the cane helps my balance and my stance. My right foot and hip hurt less when I use my cane. I searched for the best option for assisting with my balance in the sand. I came across these sandpads. I bought 1 and a cane to use it with (? Compatability with my hurricane). It worked well walking in the sand and in the calm lagoon. I went in as deep as the handle then noticed shifting. (I didn't think it through well. What do I do with the cane so I can swim?) I walked back to the sandy shore and to my beach chair. I kept my walking in the sand to minimal. I was grateful for the opportunity to walk in the sand. I did not feel as steady in the stronger ocean waves.

Hope Restored
I had given up ever thinking I could make it down to the beach ever again because of mobility issues, but with the use of two canes and these sand pads, I was able to have the best time ever going to the beach and being with friends. I just couldn't believe it, but I walked with little effort on the sand and was quite stable! And they also help disperse weight more evenly on regular train, helping me feel less vulnerable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me feel like the self I used to be.

Excellent on the beach!
Got this to enjoy a day out on a beach with co-workers. Originally, I had planned to reserve a beach wheelchair (some California beaches offer free rental in exchange for your ID) but the beach that day was more packed than usual, and I decided an alternative was needed. Amazon prime allowed me to get them right away :) I had been using regular crutch tips already, but was concerned of the crutches sinking into the sand and possibly losing my balance. These devices proved great and easy to use, and they definitely helped me have a steady "walk". There were no problems attaching them at all. I had planned on removing them once I was on the flat boardwalk, but they turned out to be just as good as on the sand. I would even venture to say they are better than the tips that come along with the crutches. I kept these on instead. After a weekend's use, I can say I definitely appreciated the wider base that allows better stability. It impressed the physical therapist that I went to so much, that she asked if she could take a pic of it (she took a shot of my Amazon orded). The wider base also means they dont fall easily to the side.

Awesome product
These worked perfectly for our vacation to the beach. Easy to use and sturdy construction

Bought this specifically for holidays and my cane did not in it properly. The “tape” that comes with it to help fit a smaller circumference cane is useless. I should have returned this product. Only gave one star so I could review.

Over priced 75% mark up. Hopefully they will work on the sand, will find out in the warmer weather.
