Love it, but (Update)
I find myself talking with affection to this vacuum--maybe it's the face but I also feel physically better when I'm using it: it is less noisy than my previous vacuums, it doesn't spew dust or hot air back into my space, the suction is great. People who are not used to canister vacs might find it to have maneuverability issues--not a problem for me. Some might find it heavy to carry the canister up the stairs, but I'm okay with that too. One change I would make is I would increase the onboard storage to include the crevice tool. Update August 10, 2025. I still love the features I wrote about initially, but the sections of the wand keep separating and falling to the ground--so frustrating. A vacuum that costs $500+ should have wand sections that click together or some other feature that holds them together.

Nice canister vacuum
This vacuum is hard to find in the USA but it comes highly rated. It’s well built and looks to last a lifetime unlike some of the more accessible vacuums that are mostly disposable at this point.

Numatic/NaceCare henry Allergy Canister Vacuum
I have a SEBO Vacuum but find that I reach for the Henry most of the time as it is very easy to use and the quality exceeded my expectations. Also, with allergies the Hepa Filter System just works as advertised. My only complaint is this: Why is this product so difficult to find in the United States ? Lastly, I am able to use my SEBO extensions with the HENRY and the HENRY makes me smile and laugh when I see it sitting somewhere in a room in the house. Bravo to the engineers that make this Vacuum. 1 Year Update May 1, 2022: Today I used the Henry to clean the screens on the house and the 2nd and 3rd story balconies. It is powerful, light weight, and got the job done. I really like this machine and the fact it does not emit dust is fantastic.

Far better than the UK's other vacuum that rhymes with Bison
Strong suction and very quiet. My kids love the googly eyes. Although it looks like a shop vac, it is the size of a small canister vaccum. The cord is made similar to the standard of construction grade extension cord. The manual cord reel is easy to use and keeps the storage tidy. This is best suited for hard flooring but the suction is strong enough to clean carpet.

Vacuum attachments frequently come apart
Company sent used item. Product arrived with obvious wear on wheels and under side of unit was significantly scratched up. Unit decibels and suction are good, cord rewind does not turn well and attachments are frequently coming apart at different connection points when in use.

The best!
I've had this vacuum for two years and it has been an investment well worth it. I used to weeze and need to use an inhaler 4-5x a week, but now it's maybe 1-2x if that. I originally bought it bc the filtration system was rated one of the best. The air is filtered through a heavy HEPA bag, then goes through another heavy cloth filter, then through another REAL HEPA filter so there are virtually no particulates released out of the exhaust. I live in 700sf all hardwood floor and only low pile rugs. I say this bc Henry isn't meant for total carpet unless you buy special attachments. The suction power is amazing, even w such an intense filtering system. I never have to go over a section twice using the hard floor tool, and the crevice tool is a beast on baseboards and corners. I tend to change the bag once it's half full just so the system doesn't have to work so hard and to prolong the life of the vacuum itself. It usually takes me 4-6 months to get it that full (no pets) and at $2.50 a bag, I don't feel bad changing it that often. Although many reviews have mentioned Henry doesn't lose suction even when its more than half full. If an initial $500 investment and only $5 a year to keep my Henry, rated for 10 years use, running like new, that's money well spent - considering I spent $1500 on 2 different Dyson's and their repairs over 4 years. Everything is very manual on this vacuum. No screens or complicated electronics, but I like that bc there are less things to go wrong. The plastic is strong and seems indestructible vs really rigid and crack prone. The cord winding system works best if you stretch the cord out straight before winding. I just imagine this is how vacuums used to be made. They weren't disposable; they were modular and repairable and made to last.
