Philips Norelco Genuine Bodygroom Replacement Trimmer/Shaver Foil, BG2000/40

This blade is great. There really is no replacement that has compared. It fits in the razor well, and cuts great. Easy to use, and very durable as it lasts for months.

My husband loves these, works well for full body hair removal dry shave.Blade is great quality, easy to use,no skin irritation and comfortable no pulling of hair,great value for money and durable.Great for sensitive skin. He showers first exfoliates and then dries off and uses this for an entire body shave to avoid razor bumps or skin issues.Would highly recommend.

I have a Norelco 7000 I got back in Dec 8 2020, now that is a while, didn't replace the head at all during that time, the first times I tried to use the Norelco under my groin area I got some really bad pinches and tears, nothing I've ever gotten from Mach 3 or Amazon Solimo razors, I can casually move those razors down there with noticeable pressure to get through hairs without any issues. I could not just casually move this thing around there without feeling some nasty tearing pains, I don't know what it was exactly, maybe the razor head was defective back then, or my skin down there was too elastic and bunched up too much around the razor. I also have an ingrown hair on my chest which I'm pretty sure is from the old head, not coming off unless I get some surgical knife or tool assistance, I've tried it enough. I have used the older razor head on my face, it can get through 2 days worth of stubble, that's where my Mach 3 and Solimo blades easily start to struggle more and get a bit stuck, with shaving cream is ideal, with water it feels like I'm trying to push too much and lack a fast glide. 2 days of stubble if I go against the grain I can kind of feel enough discomfort to call it pain, it feels like some pulling that slightly gets rougher then goes away around my chin for example. It works well enough, can keep my cheeks smooth, there are areas under my jaw that even though I really go over them multiple times, there is hair sticking out there, I don't really care. I tried this new head on my sack where it had some left over hairs, I was still very, very cautious, used some Dove soap to lubricate the skin, watching closely as it got near the base of my hairs and holding it so it didn't press against the razor if at all, light movements and contact, I did not feel or notice any pain besides a very tiny noticeable scratch, prickly sensation. I will say the head is good for this price, but will remain very cautious and observant if I am going over my sack, I'm not going for a super close shave, I will still use my Mach 3 and Solimo razors to go over that area for a smooth sack shave. I added a pic of my jaw after using this head to show off what kind of closeness it gets, I can maybe get more cutting out of it for under my jaw with some more pass overs but I'm glad with this. I checked the patterns on the head and put them close together, they look very identical, could not tell any differences.

Usually ok, but this time it broke in two weeks of use. I think it blamed me for its demise, because it laid in wait and tried to slice up my face the first chance it got. I wasn’t born yesterday and it only manged to get a lucky scratch across my chin dimple. Pffft, I just turned it into lemonade and enjoyed a couple days good chit chat time and attention from my admirers at work and around town as they asked who could do such a tthing and made sure I was ok All I could say was about a petty electric shaver head that was probably accidently reared in a toilet paper factory and thus was ill equipped to handle my intensity. No apologies, it is what it is, and I am who I am. I can’t help it. “Cool Fire” could be nothing else but intense. That impossibility of simultaneous temperatures that I can make not only possible, but a reality… they need to be made of real steel. Real steel like in those truck commercials where they pull impossible loads over rocky mountain roads. Or real steel on two wheels that are pulsing with a wildness like a stallion from yesteryear that used to roam with the buffalo, but just made of steal and straddled by a well groomed guy in leather chaps as he laughs at the dragon and tosses back other curve on his way to Deals Gap just to turn around bound for Tellico, with Cool blue fire reflecting on the patches of snow between the leafless tree. After a quick bodygroom touch up of course and key toss to the gas station attendent, an attendant who can feel the change in the atmosphere that follows our itensity... . And even if you readers, my fans, find yoruself a bit lost and thinking that sounds like pure unadulterated gibberish, you do know about Cool Fire. You may have it as I do. You might have felt the flame that ignights but doesnt burn. Even if you haven’t yet, you recognize it form your dreams. You know that toilet paper steel won’t last! We call for real steel. I can see you all now, jreading this and nodding, saying in what’s become a chorus saying “yea, you right,” "ice and fire" "cool fire" . Can hear it swelling louder, one of those crescendos, a rock anthem crescendo, and I’m likeing what I hear my hombres. Heck yea, I’m gonna join your chorus, pump my fist in the air, tilt my head back and say yeehaw, and this time, its not the bathroom fan I am hearing, because it's busy playing something another rock anthem that I can’t quite make out but it that sounds like Freebird or something the Eagles played. But Norelco probably hears the chorus too and this one must of accidently got made in a toilet paper factory. But it is Japan and I never been there, but except for some cartoons, they got some Fire and Ice too. My grandpa was in the navy and he told me that. And I got some numbchucks and throwing stars and when I’m wearing my ninja outfit, I dont even bother shaving because that Cool Fire is uncontained and I’d have to use a straight razor which isn’t getting anywhere near my throught and you can take that to the bank. In conclusion, got to be accidently rearing in a toilet paper factory that cause this last order to go so wrong. I’ll get another as soon as the $30 Braun I ended up purchasing stops working.

Can confirm this is fully compatible with my Philips BG7030 and works great, it’s just blue. Everything else on Amazon is crummy knock-offs or the black OEM version that’s like 4x the price so I’m guessing maybe that one has been discontinued in favor of this blue one going forward? Not sure why, but this is the one to get now.

I was curious if this new packaging and design would still replace the BG5025/40 or BG2000 series and it does. Don't buy a cheap knock off, get the genuine replacement, now in greenish/blue.
