Cate West the Vanishing Files - Nintendo Wii

We enjoy hidden object games. We had just finished The Malgrave Incident (which we loved) and were looking for more Wii games in that genre. This game is much simpler and less involved which was a nice change from The Malgrave Incident. Some of the objects were hard to find because of the graphics but you can use hints and move on. We just ignored the story line and played the game. It's relaxing and fun to play - great escape.

Fun game to play

Great game to play as a group or by your self. I have a 27" TV; so a little too small to find somethings. I have played on a bigger TV and that was great. It's fun to play in a group with everyone looking for things.

I am really disappointed in this game. I bought it based on reviews, and the reviews seem to be inaccurate. I was hoping to something similar to Princess Isabella, but it was not nearly as good. Unfortunately I can't return it for full price because it was opened, snd now is "used"

I love the hidden object games. This game I have to admit is kind of hard to play as the graffics are rather dark and makes it hard to find/see the objects. Other than that, the game is fine, not really much callenge to it. As far as the purchase through Amazon, it was great, shipped quickly and got the game exactly when I was told I would get it. Even though it was a used game, it was in perfect condition.

This Wii game will make you use your brain power. Lots of different kinds of puzzles to figure out. This game isn't for the gamer who wants an extremely hard challenge, though. I enjoyed it because I like puzzle games that let you relax and enjoy it. It's not a game that will keep me up nights searching for a solution.

Wow, so disappointed!! Maybe I was expecting too much ... Ok, what I liked, didn't like, and why - This is a very cheaply made game. There are no moving character. Every video game out there is just that a VIDEO game. This is a comic book game where the characters are popped on the screen and a bubble appears over their head. There isn't even talking. You have to read the bubbles. OMG. I thought we were light-years beyond this. ATARI GAMES WERE BETTER THAN THIS. And this is Wii!!!?????!!!!! The INTERACTIVE SOFTWARE GAMING OF THE FUTURE? Ok, I'm in my 30's and love puzzle games, etc. You know, where you are given two pictures and are asked to find the differences? Kinda fun right?! Well, that's it for this game. You find either objects in a picture or the differences in a picture. This is the bar game I mentioned in my title. That's it. That's all this game does. Swear, it doesn't get any better. This game has absolutely no interactive qualities. None. I'll sell you mine if you are interested for your kid. I would think the age group would be between 8 and 12 maybe? It might hold their interest for 30 minute snatches but I seriously seriously doubt it. THIS GAME REALLY SUCKS.

The game is so fun, it need a little more than just find objects, have very cool music and the history line is good enough to keep you playing. The controls are so intuitive and it have a good multiplayer too, is really a good game to kill some time.
