Good Grips Etched Medium Grater, Yellow

OXO does it again! My old box grater was a space thief, difficult to clean and took forever to drain/dry. I only ever used the coarse side, so it really wasn’t earning its keep. Enter this beauty…it’s sharp and grates carrots, celery, hard cheese and dry bread crumbs with nearly zero effort/pressure. I’ve only had it for a day, but I’ve given it a workout. It also stores easily in a drawer, but I may end up keeping it in a utensil crock on my counter as the cover is quite secure. I won’t have to worry about grated fingertips as I’m reaching for other items. OXO!!

This thing is grate! I've always had four-sided graters and never used like 2 1/2 of the sides. This one is sharp, effective and easy to hold.

This grater from OXO is great. Shreds semi soft cheeses like Tillamook Sharp, Pepperjack, and Cabot cheeses easily. I wish we had purchase this years ago. It is easy to clean and stores nicely for us. We typically shred cheese to put on top of chili or on a tortilla. Heating the tortilla once the cheese is on top works great. Definitely something we will keep and use regularly.

I own many OXO items and they never disappoint. This little grater is perfect for our needs. We actually use it to grate a block of Parmesan cheese and it works magnificently. The design allows you to hold it comfortably and grate with such ease.

Like the grate size. Works well. Not much else to include.

I was amazed at what an upgrade this was from my old grater. To be fair, my old grater was my mother’s, so it was about 70 years old, but this OXO is light years better. A nice surprise is the tray-type area on one side. When grating with the raised sides on top, it collected the cheese shreds which I could then transfer to my dish. The whole thing worked very well, was comfortable, efficient, and easy to clean. Wish I’d bought this years ago.

I bought this grater in March 2023, its is sharp and stands up to any cheese, without making my 70 yr old hands tired. I like the cover that protects it in the drawer. What isn’t great is the plastic rim it cracked almost immediately but didn’t impair the function. Two and half years later it is falling off. Still grates, sharp as ever, but if it comes off much more it will be useless. I’ll probably buy another OXO, but maybe a different style. I still use my mother’s hand grater, all metal and 80 yrs old. Not as sharp but neither am I!

The grater is a good size and is quite sturdy. Really love the quality and the rubber grip at the top of the grater to ensure it stays in place over a bowl.

I absolutely love this handheld zester! It creates a super fine zest that's ideal for baking, cooking, or garnishing. The size is just right, and the handle is designed for comfort, making it easy to hold. I love the non-slip foot and cleaning is easy. I also love how it has a protective cover so I can store it in my "everything" drawer without worry. Highly recommended!

It was missing from order. Manufacturer directed me tp Amazon. It was replaced in a very timely manner so kudos to Amazon. Item is very nice: sturdy, sharp, well built, great rubber handle complete with a safety cover to protect it (and you) from damage and the grater teeth are quite small. Works very well indeed. A little larger than I envisioned but isn't going to slip around in the hand. Just hope Amazon doesn't charge me twice now.
