Received quickly and as expected. I would recommend.

Works "ok". Still sheds small particles like the "steel" wool. Durability is so-so. Performed it's need of helping to sand down some primer on a very contoured piece of wood between painting coats.

It is 👍 at cleaning burned on cooking mess and scrubbing items have cooking grease and residue. It doesn't rust and fall apart like SOS pads after several uses.

The synthetic is OK, but it seems to be rougher than my real steel wall. I didn’t send it back. I kept it. I can use it for something else, but I would stick with the real thing.

These work very well. Steel wool is always so messy because they rust. These do not and do the same job.

This is the best for scrubbing dishes. Not as harsh as real steel wool, but just as effective.

A fantastic improvement over standard steel wool; not only does it not leave tiny bits of steel in your sink that then rust, and does not stick a sharp piece of wire under your thumb nail, it actually works better than steel wool on all sorts of pots & pans (my Sunday afternoon job) as well as electronic strip board (see video) to make it shine before soldering. So we now use this after years of using standard steel wool on our pots and pans, which whilst the latter cleans effectively does scratch the surface, unlike this product which cleans but in a more gentle manner and does not leave steel filings in the bottom of your sink. Neither does it sit there quietly rusting in a damp ball on the side of your sink but can be easily shaken to remove water and it then dries quite normally. For me, as an avid electronics enthusiast, it cleans my circuit boards and strip board prior to soldering absolutely brilliantly and leaves not steel filings to short circuit things afterwards. It last a long, long time (see the piece in the video which I must have used for 6 months). And it is most certainly kinder to my hands with no puncture wounds to my thumbs. And the cherry on the cake is the low price of this product - it's hardly worth hesitating considering the price it's being sold for. Better than steel wool in every respect.

These pads resemble the familiar green pan scrubbers, but they have a more open texture and are more durable. They’ve been used wet to remove old dried grout from tiles. I felt it took a bit more effort than using steel wool but it was much cleaner to do and the pads rinse and can be re-used. They flatten down a bit after a few minutes but remain good enough to keep going with. A good alternative to the messy, rusty stuff for this purpose.

This is so much easier on the hands. Gloves still a good idea but not a necessity as it doesn't poke into hands the same way, and yet retains the roughness needed to work. This is a medium grade - there is a coarser and finer version. For taking off light scale and rust, this worked fine. All in all a great improvement.

There are six small and sturdy pads of synthetic steel wool in this pack. Synthetic steel wool resembles the fibres that are used to make the scrubbing side of sponge scourers, but are far more heavy duty. The fibres are much rougher, designed to remove dirt and loose surfaces. I've used a similar product before and it really does work well. These little pads have the edge over conventional steel wool in that you don't have to wear rubber or protective gloves to protect your hands from metal swarf, you can safely use them with bare hands. Another advantage is that unlike steel wool, this won't rust when it comes in to contact with moisture, so it can be safely rinsed and put to one side to use again. They can also be used with cleaning products, one of these used with Astonish Pro Multi Use Cleaning Paste 500 gram With Free Cleaning Sponge cleaned off some black rust marks on a worktop that had defied other cleaning methods. Good item to have both in the kitchen and home workshop.

As good, if not better than any similar steel wool product I have used, these 3M synthetic steel wool pads – of which there are six in a pack – are cut to just the right size and they are very useful, doing a good job of rust removal. You can use them on metal and wood, but they are not recommended for glass. These are the medium variety pads, and you could also buy fine and coarse versions depending on the task.
