This sling is great for "packing" and the typical snacks and items you would take on an afternoon daytrip. Whether it's going out on the town or out on a hike this does the trick for me. I can put in my steel water bottle, a bunch of snacks, spare shirt or sweater, all with just the large middle pocket. Then the front and back pockets can be used for "packing" and all the smaller items you want to carry around. It's about 1/2 the size of carrying around my full size backpack which is not as convenient or tactically equipped either. The straps on the front are somewhat for looks and not really useful for me ... you can tuck them in or cut them off if you don't need them as they just add one more inconvenient step to getting into the front pockets which you likely want quick access to. The quality is quite good and I'm also happy with the double zippers which are always better. I'll be using this for every daytrip or outing from now on. Great easy carry pack! -M

I use this on the daily when I’m either out to town, biking, or just on a general walk. The pockets are SUPER useful, especially the one on the main strap which I use to carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer. The only issue I have is that the side straps and the straps that hold the main strap in place all keep coming loose after a month or so of use I believe due to the ends of them not being sewn up. Quite an easy fix if you know how to fix it but if you didn’t know and your bag falls off, it could cause some serious damage if you’re holding a fragile object within. Great bag and so far hasn’t caused me any issues other than what I’ve said. Highly consider buying if you know how to fix the strap problem yourself
