A: It seems that If you don't need both of your pci express Power outs for a high-end graphics card, that this would be a great solution if you nead a dual Cpu 8 pin solution for your motherboard.  If you do need another pci Express cable there is another solution as well for that instance(with still buying this cable), and getting an power conversion cable from Ebay that would alter an sata power to pci ex, or an sata to molex solution, here's a link: (well this is an amazon one)  https://www.amazon.com/Power-Express-Video-Cable-Adapter/dp/B007Y8FSMQ --- that is what you could use as an solution, if you need both pci-ex and an secondary PSU 8pin.  If you havea corsair standard Pci-ex cable you should have the proper cabling anyways, this is a just in case scenario for you, But yes this cable would work perfectly for your system.

This cable plugged into the GPU & CPU 4+4 ports on my Corsair HX750 750W power supply. The two 4 pin female connectors on the other end are attached to make an 8pin connector, but they slid apart to get two 4-pin connectors. The 4-pin connector plugged into the secondary CPU power port on my ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) ATX motherboard and is doing a great job of supping power to my AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core CPU. All of the metal contacts of this cable are female. The sex is correctly defined by the metal contacts, not the plastic housing. The de3scription for this product is incorrect.
