So I was really excited with the announcement of the Oculus Quest as a fully standalone product which had massive appeal to me, especially when all my other headsets require a high-end gaming PC to use them and additional external sensors or base stations situated around the room.Once I got my hands on the Oculus Quest I was really disappointed with the comfort of the headset compared to the other headsets I own. The key selling point for the Quest is that you can simply take it around your mate's house and they can plonk on their head and play too, however, in reality, it takes flipping ages to get the headset adjusted and comfortable for your friends as everyone's face is different. The Quest's facial foam is much firmer than other headsets (including Oculus' own Rift CV1 and Rift S) and it also lets way too much light in around the nose and these are two factors that really let the Quest down.For me, this black silicone cover for the foam has totally transformed the comfort of the Quest. It's really easy to attach and if you or your friends really don't like it you can simply remove it. It feels a bit weird at first but it's quite cool against the skin and it's a 1000 times easier to clean too. I find it relieves the pressure of the Quest's foam significantly and also completely blocks out any light from around the nose. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good but a perhaps a little overpriced *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 December 2019* I quite like this it gives a nice cool feel when you put the headset on and stops the burning that you get from the stock foam after prolonged use. Only problem I have found is that after a while (and probably a bit of sweating) it does stick to your face a bit and when you flip the headset up it tends to come away from the nose area (there is very little foam there for it to wrap around) and needs re-adjusting. The lower part around the nose does tend to put a bit of pressure on your nose (feels like your sinuses are a little blocked sometimes). You will still get VR face with this but it feels more like how it would if you had a scuba mask or similar on. I would recommend if your sharing your quest as it is more hygienic and easy to wipe clean. Price is perhaps a 3-4 pounds more than it should be. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit, light weight, cool on the face, blocks out light around the nose and waterproof! *by D***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 September 2019* All positives for this product, absolutely no negatives. This silicon mask is perfect for for use between multiple users as it can be wiped down with antibacterial wipes easily and due to it being silicon it does not absorb the solution. It can also be fitted in seconds and removed without the need to change the original facial insert, it simply slips right over the original Quest foam insert. This was a plus in my opinion over the other solutions that require a complete swap out of the facial inserts.As for the material I wasn't expecting the cool feeling the silicon gives which helps when playing experiences that make you hot, the comfort is not affected either, as comfortable if not a little more than the foam face mask itself. The silicon is the perfect thickness too, like the PSVR face mask, easily flexible to fit and shape with your face but not too thin to break.
