I've been using this chapstick since 2015 and it's my favorite. I used to be able to easily find it at Whole Foods and sometimes Sprouts but their inventory rotates and this is unreliable. I saw it online here for an okay price, and when I got it everything was perfect. Great formula and intact. Not sure how these will ship in the summer so I'm going to stock up in the cooler months. This balm keeps a firm mold while being hydrating and glides just the right amount without getting melted and oily or greasy. I don't get lip scum after a while like I did with Burt's Bees. I also really like the scent. It's like a super light citrus sherbert with shea but really natural and not strong. Hope to be able to purchase for a long time and glad it's available through Amazon.

I literally live in a desert and suffer year-round from dry and cracked lips. No joke. I've tried all the traditional brands such as ChapStick, but they just weren't doin' it for me. One day--over a decade ago--my wife randomly bought a stick of this stuff at the store. I put it on before bedtime for a couple of nights, and I noticed that my lips were soft and smooth again, just like being near a misty beach every day. Unfortunately, Desert Essence with Shea Butter became almost as hard to find as toilet paper in the middle of 2020. Instead of driving from store to store, I simply turned to Amazon, and sure enough, these little gems were available to be shipped to me in a matter of days--which I must say almost seemed too long with my dry lips, but alas, I had my old faithful remedy once again. Thank you, Amazon!

It really works, and it continues to work. I find that occasionally you can find an excellent lip balm, but then after a few months it is not useful. Not this product. It's fantastic.

Works well to hydrate my lips especially during the dry winter. Have one in every purse!

The best Lip Balm I have found over t he last 30 years. It is thick but not cakey, very smooth. It applies easily and last longer than any other I have found. I have chronic dry lips and never want to be without this Balm. When I run out and can find it right away, all other brands I end up settling for are lacking and frustrating to use as they either do not last long or are waxy and sticky.

I am a person who has to have lip balm with me at all times. I really like the smell, taste, and consistency of this lip balm. It's a little thicker than say Dr Bronner's so it stays on longer, but it's not cakey like chapstick. It has a light natural scent. I'm not a fan of burts beez because I don't like that heavy menthol smell and taste. This is just like a light, shea butter smell. I love it.

I am on a search for a cruelty-free lip balm that works, and this is one of my favorites so far. Tastes to me like oranges, although that's not an ingredient. Smooth, very nice.

This lip balm is very "dry." Its very thick and does coat your lips well, but its not very comfortable to put on. I know this sounds strange but I'll try to explain. When you put other lip balms on (like burt's bees for example) they slide onto your lips and make your lips feel sort of slippery. With this lip balm, it doesn't slide on because it doesn't have much moisture to it. Still useable, just not nearly as great as other desert essence products I've used. (The Coconut shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are great!)
