Review: Ok - Ok Review: Great book. - A nice book for a beginner (which is what I most certainly am!!). Background: I had signed up for a multi-session class on making clay objects - not just wheel turning but also the more fundamental parts. It was nice to have the book to help me fill in some of the parts of process. And, FYI, I am quite the beginner!

Essential for the Beginner to Intermediate Beginner Pottery Wheel Student
Having taken ceramics courses for two years, this book is helping me to understand the basics and take my skills to the next level. You can watch videos, ask questions in your pottery classes, but I consider this to be a foundational textbook that will allow me to grow as a ceramicist and designer. There is a lot to be learned from reading the very clear instructions and explanations. Stuart, thank you so much. I hope you develop a follow up title for intermediate ceramicists / designers.

Great book for beginner's AND experienced clay warkers
The product itself is good. Nice sized print, quality paper and easy to read for those who don't like instruction like books.

Perfect guide for starting out!
My boyfriend and I are about to take the plunge and buy a pottery wheel. I’ve done the research and we want to go with one of the speedball ones... once they’re back in stock.... thanks covid! This book has taught us so many things already even without being able to throw. It reviews clay types, techniques, and so much more!

El libre llegó un poco dañado y manchado por el exterior como si fuera mal cuidado. Dentro esta nuevo.
