Review: Outstanding MP3 player - I've had many MP3 players over the years and have eventually replaced them all for one reason or another. I bought this Mansso player to replace my current touchscreen player which I have a hard time with because of my large fingers, also I wanted to go the Bluetooth route to match up with my speaker. I will go out on a limb and say this MP3 player is by far the best and nicest I have owned, and I once had an Ipod 3rd Generation. First of all, it's very sleek and handsome. It's a respectable size which I like, a bit larger than a few players I've had. The buttons are touch sensitive and it's very easy to figure out the navigation of its menu system. The main menu is a series of icons including Radio, Bluetooth setup, Recorder, Folders, Music, Settings, EBooks, Videos, and Tools. The music category includes options for All Songs, Last Played, Artists, Albums, Genres, Playlists, and Update Playlist. Inside Settings you will find, Languages (I'm not going to list them but there are many), Date and Time, Display, Sound Settings, Button Lights, Shutdown Settings, Information, Format Device (if you needed to for some reason), and Factory Setting. When you're listening to music, you'll also have options for Home, Shuffle (and it does an excellent job at shuffling which is important to me), Repeat, Bookmarks, Play Music From, Sleep Timer, Add to Playlist, and Remove from Playlist. The Mansso connected to my Bluetooth speaker with no problem. I've had the two connected all afternoon today while working outside which has been around 4 hours. And get this, I have my display set to "always on" and the battery indicator is at about 80% right now. The display isn't affecting the length of listening hardly at all. The Radio works well and is the first MP3 player I've had where it actually does work. But keep in mind, you have to have wired earbuds plugged in as they act as an antenna. For my conclusion, I'll say I am very very happy with the Mansso MP3 Player, it works flawlessly, is nice looking, has very good volume (the built-in speaker is even decent), tons of options, and is easy to figure out. Thank You Mansso! Review: Very Impressed - I got this for my car so I can listen to my audio books and music and to replace the AGPtEk unit that failed (battery blew up). I was just hoping for a simple device that would be okay as I didn't want to use my main DAP for my car. I am actually very impressed with the quality. It feels well built and the audio is amazing and loud for such a small device (usually the biggest issue I have with these smaller music players is the loudness level, especially when using it for audio books. I am happy to say I can hear everything, even with the windows down on the highway which is something I couldn't do before. I hope I don't have to edit this review and change my score because I hope this unit is with me for a long time to come. My only negatives are that I have to use the power button to then use the start/pause button and it's not physical so it's not the best for driving (as another reviewer here had mentioned). However, I think with this knowledge, you can forgo the need to do this and create your own playlist so you only need to use the play/pause button before and after your trip. Pros: So far the battery life is great (only charged once and have been using for my commute all week with barely a dent in the power bar). Sounds great (will be as good as your audio file). Well amplified sound. And feels solid, not cheap.

Not an iPod but decent
I have always used iPod nanoโs but after their batteries kept dying on me, I decided to get this little guy instead. It is sturdy and I like that there are physical buttons for volume and power. I wish the navigation buttons were a physical button too because the touch ones are not that responsive but at least they glow. Sound quality seems good and I like that there is a little built in speaker. It really holds a lot of songs. Also it comes with an arm band. The navigation is not as good as an iPod, but the shuffling is good. What worked for me when connected to my computer was to create folders to be my main playlists and drag the songs in. Here I only put each song in one folder so I wouldn't have any duplicates taking up space (but if space is not an issue you could). Then you can go to folders to listen to and shuffle all the songs in a folder. The actual playlists feature is not as useful since you have to add songs one at a time from the device itself, and canโt name your playlists, they are called 1-2-3. But I used those to make a playlist that includes songs from different folders. I also added a micro SD card from my phone. You cannot shuffle together the music on the chip with the music on the device itself, so I use the chip to store my Christmas music and it works well because now I wonโt have it popping up at other times of year. The radio feature also works well and you can save your favorite stations. Apparently you can record from the radio too because I have not tried it. Charging has not been an issue, it takes a regular micro usb charger and the battery life is long which is why I bought it. The instructions are not that helpful but it is easy to figure out.

If touchscreen is important.... Pass on this.
First off this is not touchscreen, rather the entire front is covered in glass and the buttons are under that glass. The screen itself cannot be interacted with. Not a deal breaker, but also not what it is. Sound is decent, especially considering the price point. I hooked it up to headphones and earbuds and happy enough with it. The equalizer settings are all preset, I set mine on rock but I would have liked to be able to tweak it as needed. FM radio tuner is a nice touch. Make sure you plug in headphones as they also act as the antennae. Sound quality here is pretty good. You can show pictures, play videos and read ebooks, but the screen is insanely small. It probably would have been better to leave them out. The screen is, honestly, subpar. Part of the issue is the album art is super tiny so not really pretty or useful. Also it is not a vibrant screen. Battery life is very good. I loaded a bunch of music then played the music while I was at work. 9 hours later it was going strong. Bluetooth will cut this down considerably. The build quality is good. The player has decent heft, the front glass looks nice, though again it is not touchscreen nor really curved as the screen is under the flat of the glass. A fair amount of metal in the build, though the plastic back feel cheap. This thing is a finger print magnet. The on board 16gb memory is probably enough for most anyone, except me. I really need 128gb and this player can handle it, though for now I am running with 32gb. Bluetooth is honestly rough. Maybe it is my device, this may be a dealbreaker. For my trusty echo dot, the pairing is terrible. For a pair of USB headphones it pairs without issue. Overall for the price point and functionality I think this is a good player. Not as good as a Sony Walkman, but I could buy 10 (or many more) of these for the price of one. I think this is great for working out, using in your car for road trips (or not using data). It is less hefty than your phone too. The BT stuff and screen knocks this down 2 stars. I don't regret the purchase though, it will serve just fine.

Not worth the hassle unless you just play random shuffle songs
This thing is a horrible choice if you keep an organized music library using an Album Artist > Album > Song structure. There's no way to browse or filter based on Album Artist or folder hierarchy, so if I want to play BT's Skylarking, you can't separate and choose between the version in A Song Across Wires (BT) from the version in A State of Trance 2013 (Armin van Buuren). You can search and filter by album name, but it then presents the entire album list from all artists at once, which is yet another problem when you have entire discographies with over 30 albums per artist. I'd guess that all works fine for people that just add a list of songs for shuffle mode, but I'm not one of them. Beyond that, my unit came with a defective screen or operating system. The screen won't turn off during playback. It stays lit with a bright white background no matter what and further drains the battery. Pressing the power button only shows the album info, and from there the white screen if I press power again, so the device is using that white light as the standby mode. A factory reset didn't fix it.

solid, easy to use, easy to navigate
I can use this to send music to my JVC car stereo or Bluedio headphones. Good sound. Can only be controlled through the device, tho, which is sometimes an irritation while driving. But I can keep it charged through the USB cable while streaming the USB audio to the JVC. Good sound that way, too. The only issue is when I stream via Bluetooth, it always drops the first 2 seconds. Gonna look for a program that lets me mass add 2 seconds of silence to the beginning of every song, but it isn't a deal breaker, cuz that happens with other bluetooth music streamers, too. Very happy with it. The sd card was very hard to get to seat. I ended up having to use a dime to push it in far enough to click. Holds plenty of music. No formatting problems with large mini-SD disks. Good price, and I think the best value for the money among all these cheap mp3 players. The curved glass front does make it seem more classy, somewhat, and more comfortable to hold.

Highly Recommend
The touch surface controls and large color screen with excellent graphic interface make this unit a terrific value. Very easy to use and loaded with additional features beyond music play. Fits nicely in the hand or pocket. The onboard speaker is very good. Its not unpleasant to listen without headphones. It also has blue tooth capability to wireless headphones. The ability to expand GB and battery life are also added benefits. I tried a few other brands for comparison but settled on this one as head and shoulders above the rest. Also, price is right.

Not A Promising Start
So far, this is very cumbersome to use. It took about 30 minutes to fix the language problem when I selected "German" over "English" by mistake. The print in the owner's manual is so small and I have vision issues to begin with. What I could make out made absolutely no sense. The product description on page 2 was on one page and had no diagram listed; the recording operation on page 3 had what I think is the diagram for identifying the components, except it was so small I couldn't read it, and that's with my glasses and a magnifier. Pages 4 - 8 describes the on screen icons...except there are no pictures of the icons. You kinda had to figure it out. I went online to see if there was a larger print for the manual and found nothing, so I was forced to play with it. I can't get the screen to brighten up more than it was so that sucked. Maybe it'll brighten up if I can get thing to work. On face value, I wouldn't have bought this. However, I will get the T2 card and try to upload music. If it goes smoothly, I'll revise my review. I won't be a stretch to get another one and return this one. I need something user friendly and can see.
