Case for 12.3 Inch Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus, Surface Pro 7/6/5/4/3 - Portfolio Business Cover with Pocket, Compatible with Type Cover Keyboard, Gray

Don't be like me and get a Surface Pro and then use it for a year without a cover like this. I remember seeing this product back when I first bought my Surface Pro. I don't know how I justified not getting it at that point. Recently it was getting scratched up so I relented and bought this. Little did I know I was in for an amazing surprise... That annoying gap between the stand and the bottom edge of the tablet, while not an issue when using it stationary on a desk, is incredibly annoying to deal with on my lap. It also sometimes closes by accident if I slide the device across the desk too quickly causing the device to fall onto the desk. Furthermore, it makes carrying the device with the keyboard attached and the device remain open a little cumbersome with my hand nestled within that gap, especially if I am trying to type on the keyboard while holding it this way, one handed--not the most stable of hand-holds. I don't know if others have to use their devices this way that much, but I carry it and type on it in this fashion while moving room-to-room at my work 8hrs a day. Enter this pretty-sturdy-seeming case...Lo and behold that stupid gap is gone. The long flat underside flap is perfect. Carrying it, placing it on (now any) surfaces, typing on it one handed, sliding it across surfaces, all work flawlessly just like a regular laptop would. The daily frustration this thing is going to save me is priceless. Not to mention it looks pretty slick. Thanks for a great product. Not sure yet about the durability since I just opened it, but seems to be of decent quality. Oh yea and it definitely will protect from scratches since the device no longer directly contacts anything except the inside of the case. TL:DR - Just get it. Or get one like it. Don't second guess. A cover like this is a necessity for a Surface Pro if you carry it around with the kickstand open, ever.

After 7 years of literally daily use, my old protective cover, that was almost identical to this one, was finally ready to be retired. It was still going strong, doing its job, but it was really looking used up. These things are super inexpensive for the quality, durability, and level of protection You get out of them, so it was a no-brainer to get another one when I finally decided to do so. And yes, for the same MS Surface Pro 6 that is also 7 years old! Lol Hey if it ain't broke... I think the reason I waited so long to get another protective case is because of sentimental reasons. The first one was a gift from a dear friend. It had a different company name stamped on the little brown label, but it was basically identical. I was going to just keep the original cover for another 7 years (or until the computer finally died), because like I said, it was still protecting the laptop perfectly. But, it was time. And when this new one came, I was instantly reminded how nice these things are when they're brand new!

This case is well-constructed, very protective, and sturdy, and fits my Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ perfectly. The only downside I have found so far is that the case somewhat obstructs the fold-out stand, so to use the stand requires an awkward unfolding of the case. Not a deal breaker, though. There is a convenient holder for the stylus, and all ports are readily accessible with the case installed. Stylish and available in multiple colors, so it stands out. Recommended!

This is a good case so far. I have been carrying it in my backpack back and forth to college, so that means pulling it out and shoving it back in. I like it a lot but I have some concerns. The good: it is holding up to repeated packaging and unpacking, daily. The materials feel like they are durable and well built. The case fits perfectly on my tablet and even permits the keyboard to remain on the tablet when closed. The case is rigid but has padding and protects the tablet well. I like the look of it but if you don’t want a journal looking cover then there’s colors to pick from. The concerns: First, an my biggest complaint, the loop to hold the pen on the side is unprotected and the pen gets banged and twisted into all sorts of ways. The elastic doesn’t feel as if it will be durable enough for the long term. Besides my fear of losing the pen, the poor pen is just getting beaten up. I wish that the pen storage could have been tucked into the case. My other issue is just a minor annoyance for me. The case doesn’t allow for the whole thing to be flipped open to use as a tablet instead of a notebook. The keyboard will not flip around the back with the case on. I don’t use it the way often so that is not a big problem to me. Overall I am happy with the case and do recommend it.

This case fit my Surface Pro 7 perfectly. The material is good quality and seems very durable. It also folds completely back or positions conveniently for a number of different situations. Also, fits well over the keyboard cover, so need to detach when using this case. Very pleased!
