IdeaWorks 3 Tier Slide Out Storage Tower Laundry / Kitchen Slim Slide Out Pantry - Perfect for Organization and Storage

A minor upgrade project to my kitchen had the refrigerator relocated and that resulted in a six inch gap between the fridge and the adjacent countertop. What a perfect place to store and hide my stock of pet food cans that we have been keeping out in the open on top of the fridge. But which one to buy, there must be a hundred similar styles of slim rolling carts. This one seemed to offer the most usable space and also came in at the lowest price. And no surprise it seems to be one of the top selling units. KEEP IT REALISTIC You have to keep your expectations reasonable and know it’s only going to be plastic but I was pleasantly surprised that not only is the polypropylene more substantial than expected but it has a small amount of flex to it rather than being brittle, it would be very difficult to break it. It’s up to you to look at the measurements before you order. Keeping in mind that this is not a perfect rectangle because of the way the plastic is molded here are the actual measurements - 21-1/2” front to back, 5” wide, 29-3/8” tall. WHAT TO EXPECT You shouldn’t expect to put a 20 pound container of detergent in this thing, that’s not what it’s designed for. For me it’s perfect to hold pet food cans so I’m sure it would be just as suitable for any canned foods, small boxes like cake mixes, household cleaners and sponges, etc. When not overloaded the plastic wheels roll smoothly on hard surfaces, and a big positive is that the entire wheel unit is preassembled and tested. Like most other slim carts like this the wheels only move forward and back, they don’t swivel, nor would you want them to, if they did it would be difficult to maneuver the cart into a narrow space. While this may not win any style awards it is functional and adequate for the average kitchen. CHOOSE IT OR NOT The compelling reason to make me choose this one was the price. It is a much higher quality than I expected for twenty bucks so I definitely recommend it.

This is absolutely marvelous! It fits beautifully between my washer and drier and looks great. It's also super functional and holds a surprising number of items. Other reviewers have noted that it doesn't hold super large detergent bottles; it wouldn't. It will hold only those items that fit the dimensions of the product. It's 5" wide, so it will NOT hold a 7" wide bottle of detergent. I've decided to keep using the smaller bottle I have and simply refiling it with the larger (and cheaper) size bottle. I suppose you could just always buy the smaller bottle, too, but I don't mind refilling it since I also refill hand soaps and other such things. It's surprisingly sturdy for a plastic item, and the wheels roll smoothly. It's easy to slide out if you need something on the lower shelves, and I love that the detergent, Spray and Wash, and fabric softener are right there on top so I don't have to pull it out every time I do laundry (which is often!). Well, I have them on top, the photo has them lower. You can place items wherever you like, though, because each shelf is just as sturdy as the next. Great product that I would definitely buy again. Just measure your space and understand that it won't hold items wider than it is.

It fits perfect on the 5 inch gap I have between the wall and my fridge! It rolls smoothly and holds up a lot of spices and condiments that used to clutter my kitchen cabinets. Assembly was easy and straightforward. I gave it 4 stars for sturdiness as I have received it with one broken clip on the side, Im assuming it broke in transit for delivery but it work just fine as it is and I didnt feel it was worth it to return and wait for replacement as the clutter in my kitchen was driving me crazy. This thing is a life saver. Finding spices while cooking is now a breeze and I just push it back into the gap when im done and you dont even know it was there.

Fits perfectly between fridge and counter YES, but it doesn't necessarily have to be there, it can be behind your fridge, behind your counters, behind your showers, play room toy chest or anywhere else, for anything else, it depends how creative and assertive you can get. Our Washer and Dryer are all the way in the basement, and it's too much for me to go down there, not to mention just to do laundry for myself, so I have this beauty upstairs in the kitchen stably against the wall and behind the Recycling Disposal Bins. It's perfect there because you can put anything and everything that you don't want inside your cupboards or under the sink. With everything on it we also have our Onions because you never know when they start growing. It was easy to put together I didn't even need direction, all I knew is that I'M GOING TO LOVE THIS BEAUTY FOREVER, Considering that it looks like it will last nicely forever. It sure is dynamic and at some point it will be located somewhere else as well. It doesn't have to stay in one place, you can use it to help you store stuff quickly until you find a place for them. Which is soon I hope because I got big plans and it involves Sliding in and Sliding out, with this beauty. Never saw it anywhere else but here so I'm so happy I met you Jobar, now I'll go see what else you have for life of ease, and assistance towards luxury relaxations. PS: I wish I could make stuff just like this, and sell them all over the world, I would have many of them in my home that were taller than myself and I'd be a millionaire!! I bought this unit to make constructive use of that small space between my refrigerator and cabinets. As a renter, I didn't want to invest in an expensive shelving unit (or to build one) that may not fit in my next rental. This low cost but well-made unit is the perfect solution for my storage needs. The box indicates that this unit is 29.5" H x 5" W x 21.7" L/D. With the wheels attached, my rough measurements came out at 30" H x 5" W x 21.5" L/D (19" usable interior of shelves), so it is true to size. Pros: Assembles in minutes. The directions were almost unnecessary as you get a bottom basket with wheels already in place, a top basket with post covers in place, a middle basket, and four side pieces. The pieces slide together without requiring tools. Pure white (which may be a con if your appliances are not the same white). The top post covers and wheels can be removed so that you can stack units together. If you buy a second shelving unit, you can add two more shelves to the first unit and have the bonus of a wheeled 5" wide basket to put in a deep cabinet. Cons: Although I had no difficulty pushing the sides into the tops of the shelves with my hands, I couldn't get the sides to go all the way into the undersides of the shelves (they were firmly in place, but left a 1/4" gap that bothered me aesthetically). I ended up draping a towel over the plastic to protect it and tamping lightly with a rubber mallet to seat the shelves all the way down. Also, it is made of a type of plastic that has a static effect. If you are a pet owner, like me, this means that it will gather pet hairs as well as other assorted clingy items: using an anti-static spray or cloth on it might take care of that though.

This little plastic roll out shelf is great. It is sturdy enough. You should handle it respect for what it is and it should last a long time. It snaps together easily with a little pressure on the pieces. I put the heaviest items on the bottom shelf to give it low center of gravity. It is next to stove and is a handy place for cooking oils, spices, etc. I read the comments before purchasing. Some commenters complained about the price. I was glad to get a shelf that fit my small space, was acceptably sturdy [no children in my home and the cat seldom cooks ;) ] and was easy to keep clean. To me, the price was a fair price for a solution to use in a small space. Edit - 5 years on, it is still perfectly functional and in good sturdy shape. It is very easy to clean - empty it out and put it in the shower to wash it.

I really do like this little cabinet, and it fits right into the space for which I bought it. However, contrary to the picture on the web page, it will NOT bear the weight of the heavy items it is pictured as holding. It slows down the movement of the cabinet, and strains the stability of the cabinet which is necessarily not held together with screws and heavy-duty anchors: the plastic is too thin for that. It will, however, hold plenty of light items in its three shelves as long as you're not planning on using this cabinet as an organizer. I like it, but frankly, I'm searching for a more substantially built cabinet/organizer that is thin enough, and I've found several possibilities. I've had this one for a year, and it's served me well, but I DO want to put some of those heavier objects onto my cabinet and have something a bit more closed in. If you're stretched for money, this is a good buy, but if you can wait a bit, I'd save for a more solid slim cabinet which WILL hold the items pictured in the web page of this product. It's not a bad product; it just doesn't hold the heavy things that I wanted to put into it. Buy it, for certain, if you don't want to store heavy items in it because it's great for that and will serve you well, in addition to being a snap to put together.

This is a truly great product that works well and is very strong. It was super easy to put together taking all of 5 minutes. I use it to store cleaning supplies behind my broom closet. I love the fact that I can actually wheel the entire unit out to whichever room I need to be in. (I have real hardwood floors, don't know if you could do this with carpet). Either way, the wheels don't ruin my floor and it makes cleaning a lot easier not having to go back/forth all the time or carry a bucket w/ supplies, etc. The only reason I give this 4 stars and not 5 is because I really wish the sides of each shelf were a couple inches taller. Also if they had a taller version (overall height w/ maybe an additional 2 shelves) that would be even better. Either way, I highly recommend this item.

Great shelving to handle all your hair products and miscellaneous hygiene products. Lots of room to store stuff and very easy to assemble. It fits nicely between my bathroom cupboard and toilet. Glad I purchase it!!!

Received as shown in picture. Item was black in color. Not hard to assemble, even though there is no instructions. I had it put together in less than 10 minutes by myself. I wouldn't use it for very heavy items and the wheels don't work great, but other than that it is exactly as described. I don't plan to move it once it is full so I don't care about the wheel function. The quality matches the price very well.
