**Q: Can you put a buffer pad on this?**
A: It is not recommended by the manufacturer DEWALT to use a buffer pad with this random orbital sander. This random orbit sander has been designed for sanding wood, metal, plastics and painted surfaces.

**Q: Can I charge the battery using supplied kit charger using Australian power point?**
A: DeWalt batteries can be charged on any charger that works in your country. I charge my DeWalt batteries in NZ on a charger I bought in NZ.  I threw away the US charging units that come with the DeWalt tools I purchased at USA Amazon. But make sure that Amazon will ship the battery. Many courier companies will NOT accept large Li-Ion batteries.

**Q: Would this be good to sand down a deck?**
A: I would not use this for a deck project.  The head is only 5" in diameter and I feel this sander does an excellent job on small projects such as sanding down furniture.  I would think a belt sander would work much better.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT SANDER

This is a very good sander. I used it to sand off a high spot in a piece of wood I was working on and with 60 grit sandpaper, it cut off almost as well as a belt sander (very high quality one) but was a lot easier to handle. I have never used an orbital sander before, always used a belt sander or a pad sander. I believe this model will work well and will replace both (still have a pad sander for lighter work. This unit works like a charm for me and I am a left hander. A lot of tools are made to work better for right handers but I believe this sander will work well for either. This model is well built and is powerful enough fyr any task. I expect it to outlast me.
