So far so good, adapter works well for data transfer and power connection.

I have the larger Garmin and love it to pieces. My first holder was a bean bag type holder that sits on the dashboard. I used it for years, but only for trips. Then I moved and started using my Garmin daily. The old holder would slide back and forth on curves and turns. I bought the suction mount as a desperate measure and it’s great. I now have my Garmin mounted below my mirror so it’s easy to see, but I find it doesn’t block my view. The suction is so strong that when a thick block of ice came through my windshield recently, the suction held to the cracked windshield to my surprise. The impact jarred the Garmin off though which given the location of the ice chunk is not surprising. I removed the suction mount off the damaged windshield, cleaned the glass off it and now successfully use it on my new windshield.

Great fit! Perfect fix to my Garmin. Thankfully! So I could keep my gps. Easy to use. Great quality! Suction! Etc. Gotten Years of use out of it so far.

Ordered this as I only needed the mount for the GPS, not the suction cup but not sold separate. Worked fine.

I bought a Garmin RV760LMT 2nd hand, and it didn't come with the window mount. I ordered this one and it works perfectly.

Great Garmin product A+++ ... I drive for a living and I have a Garmin 7" 7lmt I was getting the low battery all the time I had it connected to the plug and still had the issue low battery will come on. I called Garmin they told me to do a update I DID do that also hold the on button for 30 seconds then power on then they told me I have to send it to be refurbished it would cost me $180.00 to get done I already paid $500 brand new so I went on amazon and I saw they sold this part I tried the powered cradle and walla I don't have the low battery error NO MORE I was happy this worked came to my house quick and saved me $160 dollars thank you

I didn't buy this for the suction cup feature -- my original mount still is fine. However, this was the cheapest way I found to get a replacement for the connector which fits on the end of the ball. After many connect/disconnect cycles the micro USB socket got worn to the point where the connection with the power cord became intermittent. I put the suction cup part aside, removed the connector and fixed my problem instantly; the new micro USB socket mated perfectly and snugly with the power cord and in addition to the power, the traffic information and remote backup camera functions all work fine.
