Great Product
This product works great, and if used with a guide, it makes a surprisingly straight and square cut. Will eventually get the larger version.

Garbage
Oh boy, what a disappointment this tool was. I was sold by the ads and a few YouTube videos. For some reason, Prazi doesn’t include an extension for the mounting bar for the Dewalt 20v(a very common diy saw) Instead, it gets clamped via two nuts. There are many reviews saying it doesn’t fit, but it does, just not very well. And it takes a lot of tweaking. So, on to the really bad stuff: The cut is very wavy. It won’t show up on a video but the surface waviness is unacceptable. The unit is flimsy. I mean, it looks and feels good out of the box, but doesn’t perform like it. The chips created build up in the saw, causing high heat and creates so much friction that the saw will torque out. The chain gets very loose and tensioning it is a hassle. Plus if you tension the loose chain when it’s warm, when it cools down, the chain will be too tight when it cools down and will ruin your bearing when you run it again. Also, there is no lubricator, so you’ll need to oil it after every cut. Also, be prepared, this will drain your battery epically fast. About 10 minutes of cutting time on an 8ah. It’s not too bad for rough cutting excess material but if you’re trying to use the for a relatively precise flush cut on a 6x6 or larger, it is definitely a NO. Very rarely do I leave a bad review, but for the price of this, I expected much better. I wouldn’t be disappointed if this was $40 which about what it’s worth based on the above mentioned issues. Recommend using another brand at half the cost. Or if you’re doing some serious work as a professional, bite the bullet and fork over the money for a bonifide beam saw.

Works great, good price if you already have a circular saw that is compatible.
Finally got to use my beam cutter. Cut 3 stair stringers at the same time from from some 2" thick white pine that I milled from a dead fall. Couldn't be more pleased. Easily attached to my 50 year old Craftsman circular saw. Does not have a chain oiler, so i got a squirt can and filled it with bar and chain oil to lube the bar and chain.

Doesn't fit on two different DeWalts :(
I have a new saw I went and bought and a two year old DeWalt, didn't fit either one. Went and dug out a very old Ryobi I've had forever with a bigger bolt than supplied and it fit perfectly once I found a bolt that would fit out of my bolt bin. Cuts good but if your a novice user, make yourself a straight edge to get rid of the wavyness. It's also hard to see a line due to the chips that it throws up and guess that's to be expected. Other than that, it's a great tool to have, was surprised to see a chain adjustment because some of the others don't have one. just hope it lasts!

Good for rough Cutting
I purchased this to cut my D Logs while building my log home. The installation manual had incorrect information, however if you have discernable skills, you can figure out how to install it. Two issues with it. The first is that there is not way to tighten the chain. I ended up putting it in my vice and pulling on the handle of my circular saw then tightening the chain. The second issue was that they used cheap cast aluminum for a frame and then steel bolts. The framing that secures the blade to the saw broke after the third of fourth time using it and I had to bore the hole out and use a nut and bolt to tighten the bar back on. This seemed to work better actually. I have since milled a steel frame for it and it works much better. It just seems upsetting to me that for the price, I had to make a part to improve the effectiveness of this product. Other than that, it is a great tool that will be used on many other projects. I would, hand have, recommended to friends.

A+ customer service
This attachment does work really well for cutting wood > 3” thick. When it’s working, it cuts an 3” walnut slab like butter. After a couple of uses, the bearings stripped. I sent a message to their support and someone got back to me within the hour, on a Sunday, no less! He explained what happened, how to prevent, and is sending me new bearings to fix the attachment. THAT is how you do customer service!

Save time cutting custom angles on 8"x8" timbers
This thing is amazing ... yes a jig saw can doing the same job but would take 10 x as long. I am surprized on the accuracy and how smooth the cuts are. You will still need to sand the rough cut but what a time saver. I've been using this product to cut 8" x 8" white oak timbers and it sure beats buying that $4000 hand bandsaw. After about 10 or so cuts you will need to retighten the chain (just looses the screw, grab the bar and pull it down tight, and tighten the screw). After 40 cuts like any chain, you should take a file to sharpen the edges.

Werkt prima en een erg mooie oplossing om haaks dik te kunnen zagen

This is a tool that requires 110% focus when used. And past skills in circular saw usage. Now to the function from box to saw within minutes following the instructions. Practice before use, a couple of times before the big cut, saw chain and regular blade has a different finish so take this into account.
