I haven't had this issue with it. You might also consider what kind of flour or mixture you're using. Some will bind differently and need more or less liquid depending on what you're adding to it. I also will sometimes pause it while it's mixing by opening up the lid and run a silicone scraper down the sides and over the blades to make sure it gets everything all mixed in. **Q: Can I use it to prepare pizza dough?** A: You an possibly do that but it does not knead. The only thing it does is turn the flour and eggs. I would suggest you don't use this for pizza dough. I use my Kitchenaid mixer for the pizza dough with a dough hook. Otherwise, you're best to just knead it by hand. I have tried many recipes for pasta with this machine and mine is the only one that works good. My husband and friends love my pasta, however do not boil as long as store bought pasta. **Q: Does the recipe book have stuffed pasta recipe?** A: It has Ricotta Spinach ravioli and Jiaozi dumplings in it.
