Last Night on Earth: Survival of The Fittest Expansion

Survival of the Fittest is a great expansion set for Last Night on Earth. I made the mistake of buying Growing Hunger and this and trying to implement both into my scenarios at the same time - bad idea. This expansion adds a lot of new features, including Grave Weapons, Unique Items, and barricades. All of these are excellent additions and add many new and fun rules to the game. It does a great job of keeping old scenarios fresh. Pick this expansion up, but introduce it slowly!

As other reviewers have mentioned, this expansion is a game-changer for Last Night on Earth---in a good way. Not ENTIRELY game-changing or anything, but to the extent that it adds considerable depth to the play. I don't have any other expansions for the game (yet) but after reading a bunch of reviews myself I settled on this being the first, for that very reason. The components are of the same high quality as the original--great art, solid card stock, etc. If you want to "beef up" your gameplay with Last Night on Earth, you can't go wrong here. I think it's well worth the price since it's not just "more of the same", but in fact a true expansion of the game system itself.

We absolutely LOVE this game series and this expansion definitely did not dissapoint! Last Night on Earth is one of the best board games out there. A must for any zombie lover ;)

The Last Night On Earth game can get pretty intense with this expansion! The new rules, missions and cards make all the difference in the game and can make it a very memorable experience. To everyone who love the game, this is totally essential!

Cool add on and quality items but overall seems kinda like your not getting what you pay for. It is a expansion but for the price and what you receive little disappointed. Love the game just wish there was more to it.

It makes the game a lot better.

If you like Last Night on Earth, and you've purchased Growing Hunger, then you are pretty much already suckered in. This expansion continues the "dots" system for additional rules, which works really well. The best addition in my opinion is the use of barricades. You have fortify any building on the board, making it harder for zombies to get in. The additional decks are fun too, and they add another role-playing element to the game.

The games a blast but some of the rules aren't clearly defined just like the core game. So make sure to set the house rules early in order to avoid long debates mid game.
