Does it work via usb on my desktop running windows 10? and will i be able to use the 8x speed?

I just bought a new desktop PC. It did not have a DVD player to install certain software so I bought this. It comes with a dual adapter and works just fine via USB 3.0 with Win 10.

Can i use this with my mac to upload home movies on dvd to youtube?

I don't see why not... It records and plays fine on my Mac ..

Yes it works with windows 11. I have used it with win 11 numerous times and currently have it hooked up to burn a DVD.
