I purchased this product to rip my CDs and save them to my PC hard drive in order to give away my CDs and save space. The CD/DVD external drive worked well and ripped the CDs expediently and efficiently. The only negative remark is it was not well constructed and, after several uses the door on the Amicool drive was not aligning properly and difficult to close. THX

I use a 2021 Macbook Air, currently running Tahoe 26.5. I plugged this in and my computer recognized it as soon as I had a disc in. It's super easy to use; my computer apparently has a built-in dvd player, so I didn't even have to download anything or do anything complicate. I also LOVE that there's a cutout in the bottom of the player to neatly store the cord when it's not in use, making it VERY easy to store and very sleek. I love that so much.
