This kit is an excellent value. The wire stripper is worthless, but everything else is great. Nice and flexible, soft and heat resistant silicone insulation is just what I wanted. I measured the stripped wire and it actually is 22 AWG. I also tested the wire, and it really seems to be tinned copper. I'm not a chemist or metallurgist. From the tests I performed, it really seems to be copper wire and not stainless or aluminum. I personally had no problem soldering this wire either. It solders well; fast and easy. High quality, especially considering the price. I work on R/C aircraft, and this is great wire for that application as well. I cannot recommend this kit enough!!!

Product is good to have when you need them

The wire is standard wire, so not much to say there other than it strips easily and comes in the handy dispenser box. The wire is flexible and seems well made. I wish they had other colors of wire. The bonus for me was the little wire stripper thats included. Had one of these years ago that was designed with RG-59 in mind. I had forgotten about that stripper until I got this one. So far it works great for various wire gauges, its easy to use and one hand "handy". Just take a few tries to get used to it, first you pinch it open to insert the wired to be stripped, then pinch it closed and pull to strip. Works great for the 28-22 ga wires I have used it with. The tool is not designed to cut wire.

Wire appears usable but very fine gauge. OK for low voltage and low current applications. I was hoping for a larger gauge. Go the extra effort to check characteristics in ad and be sure you can use it in your app.

Ive been building, wiring and modding guitars for over 20 years. This kit includes high quality wire, cutters, zip ties, heat shrink and an excellent box to keep it in. I am extremely satisfied at how easy it has been to have wire accessible and how many perks this kit comes with. Its truly worth the money. I re-wired my gibson sg, jackson w emgs and even my 80s charvel. i also used it to rewire my friends fender telecaster and stratocaster, all with positive results. Will buy again!

Very high quality wire! We use this wire for our rockets to connect electronics and to connect to our black powder separation charges. There are a variety of colors that come with and the wires are very thin and flexible. It is easy to strip the wires with your thumbs as it is such thin wire. Overall amazing product with lots of variety.

I had purchased a set of the 30 gauge wires a few months ago. I didn't realize how thin 30 gauge was. But I was extremely pleased with the quality of the wires - plus the little stripping tool - plus the bunch of heat shrink tubes. With that said, I couldn't really use the 30 gauge wires for much (due to the requirements of the project I'm currently working on) and decided that once I had enough extra money, I would get myself the correct gauge I need (which is around 22 gauge). That time came last week, so I ordered the same set of wires from Plusivo - but in 22 gauge and WOW! It feels weird to say that having this set of wires (including the 30 gauge now as a backup) really makes things just that much easier and more fun to work on things! These wires are seriously high quality. I can't say enough good things about them. But that little wire stripper that comes with each set (I have 2 now) is a little beast in itself. Now, whenever I'm shopping for something electronics-related, I keep an eye out for Plusivo. My next purchase will be their set of potentiometers. I know that I'll be just as happy with them.

Less clutter on the work bench and Easy to use!

I normally would not buy silicone wire, because its really floppy, but you get so much wire here, for a good price, its worth it. Since its Silicone, its REALLY easy to strip.
