Inov-8 Men's F-Lite 195 (P) Running Shoe

OK. Let me start by saying that I run in only Inov-8 shoes. I love them. I have many 195's at home that have taken me through the 1000 miles per year races and training. These shoes fit right from the start, I have never had a blister, they keep my feet cool, they grip the road and when they get wet, they quickly dry. I love them.Why the bad review about these shoes? Inov-8 has seemed to change the footbed in the black 195's for something that is much thinner than what they produced originally. So, for the first few miles, the shoe is fine, and then the footbed starts to go back in the shoe, riding up the heel. I had the issue with a pair of black Standard fits as well, and thought that it was just the way that they fit me. But the newest pair of Precision fits that I just received have the exact same problem. The other colors that I just bought? No problems! But, they all have a thicker footbed that seems to stay put. I have no idea why the footbeds have changed with this color of shoe.Will I continue to use Inov-8 shoes? Absolutely. Will I recommend the shoes to anyone? Certainly! However, I won't buy another pair of black Inov-8 until I see that the footbed has changed.Update Mar 2017: I have continued to purchase Inov-8 F-Lite 195s with no issues, and just bought a pair of black ones. These ones I have had no issues with the footbed riding up. So, maybe I had some bad shoes or maybe things have changed. Anyway, I will continue to purchase these awesome shoes for all of my running

9 month review!!!I read a lot of reviews before making this purchase, as I'm usually a bit skeptical with buying shoes online from a brand I've never had on my foot. I wanted a minimalist-type shoe that was lightweight and very comfortable. That is 100% what I got. I do a lot of walking, running, and everyday work in these and don't have any complaints.The fit is exactly as I expected, and they have worn the road well, since I have had them for all this time. I still wear them ~3 times a week and they fit my foot like a glove. A lot of people I know that have these shoes do crossfit in them and swear by them. I don't do crossfit regularly, but I totally understand the appeal. The heel drop is not noticeable, don't know the mm's for sure though, they are durable, lightweight, and look pretty cool, which is seemingly a dominant trait for these guys! :PThe only markdown I'm giving them is the toe. The outside coating of the toe is super rough, not hard by any means. I scratch my ankles with my shoes when I get an itch and these always leave scratch marks, so much more-so than my other running shoes that I'm denoting it here. The material is like a flimsy plastic-like, it's not plastic I don't think, material that makes crinkly sounds when you press on it. I'm not sure the actual purpose of it, but it adds a different texture to the shoe, but I don't know that it needs it.

Let me start by saying I have been a huge fan of Puma for 20+ years.I ordered these because on of the guys I work out with swore by his Inov-8's and would always talk about how comfortable they are and how well they breathe. When they arrived and I unboxed them, the first thing I noticed was how ridiculously light they were and there was mesh breathable mesh surrounding the entire shoe. I couldn't wait to wear these at the gym.When I got to the gym and put them on I could feel my foot wasn't smothered and was able to breathe. I finished my circuit training and hopped on the treadmill where the obvious difference between these and any Puma's I had worn previously kicked in. My feet. They could breathe. I didn't have a shoe suffocating the life out of my feet. My feet thanked me and so did my socks. When I got home, there was no ritual of ripping my socks of my sweaty feet. No. None. My feet were dry and it felt amazing,These shoes also make you feel like you're "locked in." I didn't notice my foot slipping and sliding around inside of the shoe. The width is absolutely perfect. IF you happen to have wide feet, you might this these are on the snug side. But I say suck it up little camper. You're not going to have these on for very long anyhow.

Ok I'lll get right to it, they aren't oversized as others have stated because I followed their advice and bought a half size bigger than I normally would and now I'm stuck with shoes that are a touch to big. Just buy your normal size and they should fit fine! Width is fine but they are too long for me but its not worth returning them because its my mistake. The other issue is that one of the thin insoles in have decided to let go of their job and now slides backward and bunches up behind my heel, so I'm going to have to buy some insoles for these to fix that. I've also noticed that the natural creases that has started in the toe box on the top of both shoes has created the beginning of a hole. It's really disappointing considering these shoes are only a couple weeks old. Sure that may be because I bought a half size bigger shoe but I'll take half the blame, the shoe should be able to withstand those creases! Anyway the shoes function fine as trainers for lifting and working out but I'm just bummed about those few things. I haven't tried the 'ropetec' function yet so I can't comment on that. Thats the first shoes I've ever seen with that feature for rope climbing! Pretty neat but I'll have to try that out next time I'm at the gym. I did recieve a bunch of comments on them from people asking what they were and that they liked them. So for a trainer its a good shoe, just buy your normal size and replaced the insoles!

First, I LOVE these shoes, they are a great fit, feel, and they retain comfort through intense load. bad is that these are made from some delicate material that doesn't hold up to what is functional cross-training demands. I wore several holes in these shoes within weeks if not months with not incredible intensity. I did a few workouts a week and a few miles of walking and running. These shoes were done, unfit to wear in less than a year. I bought another pair...same thing. Have since switched to the Reeboks cross training shoes and in spite of their shortcomings they are fairing MUCH better than these shoes for 6 times the work load and still kind of minimalist.

サイズが思いの外小さめでしたが、入っているうちに違和感がなくなってきました。ソールの硬さもちょうど良いです。

これを履いて山のぼり、街歩きと1日中歩きましたが全然疲れませんでした。軽量のスポーツシューズでは全てのメーカーにおいてデザインがあまりしっくりくるものが無かったのですが、これはデザインも抜群に気に入りました。長距離を歩く日にはもう手放せません。

私は一般トレーニーですが、ウェイトトレーニングの際今までサイズの合わない安物を使ってました。今回こちらのシューズに変更し、サイズもぴったりで今までより力が乗る感覚をつかめました。非常に気に入ってます。

ソールの形がPrecisionだと、１サイズ大きめを買わないときついので注意が必要です。
