The size of the railing works well in a small bathroom. I will say normally, I am an able bodied person without other health concerns. This product does come with 2 suction cups to adhere it to the floor for more stability. It works okay for us as we have two hand but I’ve found the suction cups come loose. **Q: Can I buy bracket for toilet!** A: I did not apply any bracket on it or brace it down for my 90 year mother. I applied a bungee cord on each end of the lower back rails - then placed it around the toilet tank to hold hers in place . So the toilet seat doesn’t fall forward when she gets up. It is well designed with multiple heights. It looks very nice with the bathroom decor. This is a must for small toilet areas.
