We all know that reducers have gone up in price by double or more the last couple of years. This SMR 870 by Speedokote is one of the lowest price reducers on the market. I used it with primer, base coat and clear coat and it works well with everything. I even used it with the tractor paint from the farm stores and it does a good job. I will buy it again and would recommend it to my friends!

As a professional painter for over 20 years, I have a lot of experience with different brands of material. This product holds its own against other more expensive brands. If you use it according to the manufacturer directions, then you will get a quality result. Judy make sure you do the proper prep work, mix the material to the proper reduction rate, as well as, spray it in the proper environment and it will work nicely. The product lays down on the panels nicely and dries as advertised. I began using this as a cheaper alternative for customers and the product has held up to the test of time. Many of them had even come back for standard detailing later down the road and the product have shown that they are durable and look just as good down the road as they did when it was first applied. This product is super easy to use and has a high quality lasting appearance.

Great for the value

Not much I can say, but works great with the speedokote high build primer. Mixes well.

This is a good quality paint, sprayed well, l didn't have a problem with runs when spraying hot rod frame, good lighting is a must because it is easy to miss a spot because even thin spots shine a lot.
