This is an honest review of the Alpine Reach Pond Netting Kit, which I have personally been using on my pond for over a year now. Pros: This is a high-quality net that holds up very well to all the elements the weather can throw at it, including heat, cold, and rain. I have had my net in place for over a year, and it has held up very well. The net is also strong. Mine has kept out cats, raccoons, and owls, so the build quality is on point. It was also very easy to install, as you just have to unroll it and hammer in the large staples with a mallet. Opportunities: I honestly can’t think of anything that would make this net any better. Overall: If you have or are planning to put in a fish pond (especially with high-dollar fish like koi), this net is essential to keeping your fish safe from predators. At first I had I wasn’t sure if I would like the appearance; however, now I no longer have to worry about the safety of my fish. As an added benefit, it also keeps the leaves out. Just make sure when you feed your fish, and some of the food catches on the top of the net, to just tap it a couple of times with your hands, and it will fall through. The Pleco wafers I have to push through are like putting a quarter in a machine.

This AlpineReach woven mesh pond and pool netting kit works perfectly for covering a koi pond. Within 2 days of the ice melting a great blue heron showed up so we had to get it covered ASAP and this was available for next day and worked perfectly after a good stretch. Definitely a good value for a nice thick netting that is still lightweight

I love this well made woven fish pond protector. It keeps preditors out, even racoons so far. Maybe their hands would get stuck in the netting. I can see the fish clearly. Due to the woven nature of each strand, the net doesnt catch on the fishes' gills. I was easy to cover my pond and easy to remove for pump maintainance.

Needed a net to protect my small koi pond as fall came around. The net was easy to install with the plastic nails to hold it down. The nails have curved spikes to hold them down well into the ground so be careful when touching them. The net was very durable as it collected all the leaves that fell down and make cleanup easy by using just a broom to brush the leaves off the net. It proved its sturdiness as winter rolled in early and my pond was covered in snow and ice with the net intact for couple nights. The snow put pressure on the net into the pond but it never broke throughout the ordeal. I cleaned off the snow and removed the net for storage, still in great shape and can't wait to use next fall. Only reason it gets 4 stars is that one of the plastic nails broke in half during installment, so the nails can break easily with enough pressure on them.

The koi pond netting so far has been functioning well and appears well made. I’ve been having trouble with toads so the netting was used to keep them out. A majority of the toads have been found bouncing on the netting so I can catch them easily and take them to the stream to release them. The length of the item is perfect and it does not obstruct the visibility of the pond. Unfortunately the toads, with all the bouncing, sinks the net into the pond so I have to continually pull back the net to re-suspend the net.

This a koi pond must-have! We are new to owning Koi fish, but as fall approached, we knew we would be in need of something like this. We of course did not want any fallen leaves getting into our Koi pond, and this was a huge help! It also made us feel better about predators getting near the Koi fish! It was the perfect size for our circular pond, and has held up quite well well! It is lightweight and very easy to set up. It did not get tangled easily, and was helpful for so many reasons!

This is a great net with the small pitch. Tough enough to endure a full 4-season year including blowing seedlings and leaves off of it with extreme prejudice. Keeps most small things out, if you use a prop in the middle it's easy to keep leaves off. Stout material that doesn't fray or break down in sun, heat, or cold. Just big enough you can get a fish flake feast in the pond through it. I've tried a ton and keep using a new one of these once a year, even had a snapping turtle get suspended in it that I plucked out and transported back down the street to the creek, not a nick in the net. Squirrels run across it at times and it's pretty good about even keeping sneaky frogs out if you can make sure you get every edge. If you have a Koi or Comet pond, this is the ideal size/build to protect it.

Net performs as described. Good for keeping debris out. Strong but stretchy. But in no way is it virtually invisible. I bought this net looking for something a little stronger than what I had, without compromising the viewing of my Koi. Unfortunately, the netting gives the appearance of looking outside on a hazy morning. A cloudy, almost gray, appearance if you will. Price point was, good as well as hole size, and my Koi are protected from the raccoons in the area. Overall a decent product.

Habe das Netz jetzt 2 Monate über meinen Teich gespannt. Es haben sich nur sehr wenige Blätter hindurchgemogelt. Eicheln hat das Netz auch aufgefangen. Netz ist bisher stabil.

Keurig visnet , prima verpakt en makkelijk in het gebruik. Levering super snel. De reiger is er minder blij mee 😉.

Great pond cover. For my small pond it covers it totally. Went on easily. Cut to size with no problems Enough left over for many other projects.

We haven't actually put across pond yet, but on opening and laying it out indoors, it is exactly what we were hoping for. Seems to be very strong and very well made. Holes are a perfect size too. Thank you
