Provides more time to get those clamps adjusted.
This glue gives me a little more time to mess around getting things taped and clamped before everything sets. I usually leave things in clamps or taped overnight just to be safe. The next day, the joint is very strong. No issues.

Stress relief for large glueups
Second time i've used this for a complex glueup. Definitely gives you time to get everything in place. Runnier than titebond 3. Definitely strong.

Great glue when more time for assembly is required!!
I have been using TITEBOND Extend glue exclusively for my segmented projects. It allows me to have time putting wedges together in large rings with small wedges. Also the glue dries slightly opaque and does not impart color onto the wood. I highly recommend Extend for not only segmented projects but also where a little more time is needed for assembly.

Good Product
Needed this for an extreme glue up. Worked great even in the hot weather.

Perfect
Happy with the product. I use it for furniture repairs and the extra open time is great.

Strength is Excellent, Time is Still Short
This glue is excellent in holding power and tack. It is not a thick glue so it does run off as easily as other Titebond products, which is like, right now. I have not tested the glue in wet situations, but other outside projects I have constructed with Titebond II have performed very well outside, although Titebond III has been the best performer in the outside catagory. The glue is supposed to have an extended set time. It does set a little slower, but not much. I live in Northern Nevada where the weather can be hot and dry. Very dry. The normal Titebond glue sets so quickly it is difficult to get some woodworking projects together, so I bought this to see if the extended set time would help. It does help, but the so called extended time in my environment (a hot dry garage) is not all that long. My estimate is the time may increase by 25 percent. So if you had 5 minutes before you would now have about 7 to 8. I cannot tell you how time flies when one is putting a project together with various joints that have to be glued simultaneously. Even with pre-fitting and extra hands on call it is hard to get the projects together without a glue drying problem. This Titebond extended set will help, but not necessarily solve, the problem. And, I think Titebond III will be my choice for outside projects (or Gorilla Glue or Epoxy). Nonetheless, some additional drying time is better than none on my inside woodworking undertakings. AD2

Titebond is my go to brand
Definitely longer open and curing time. So far, it has the strength is what you can expect out of Titebond PVA glues.

Use this if you need more drying time.
I bought this when I was assembling a crib for my grandchild. I had a lot of rails that needed to be glued in and needed something with an extended setting time. This bottle was the right size for that job.
