What if the tape breaks?

There are multiple video tutorials on You Tube about how to repair and rethread the broken or tangled tape. Probably not worth it if there is only a little bit left. But the case comes apart on the seam and can be snapped back together after the repair and rethreading. Takes a little time and patience and a little piece of scotch tape to hold the tape in place during reassembly.

can you use this with a typewriter? As in typing the mistake on to the tape and typing the correct letter.

I've used liquid correction in typing but not correcting tape. I know sometimes in rolling the correction tape over a handwritten mistake the pen can smudge your correction. I'm not sure how it would work with typewriter key stroke.Hope this helps.
