Great addition to gym accessories.
I bought these after watching Dr Mike Israetel on the "Renaissance Periodization" YouTube channel. They are a game changer for someone like me, who has relatively weak grip and forearm strength. To give you an example, I used them on my favourite pull exercise (lat pulldowns), and was able to move up from 10 reps to 14 reps of the same weight, the first time I used them. Now, rather than finishing a set with burning forearms, and feeling that the target muscles are under-exercised, I can feel the target muscles are being fully exercised. Going through the three categories....... "Value For Money" - these are the top end of the price range, and the premium brand. There are others on the market for less, but I didn't want to compromise on build/material quality. I can't really comment on whether they are as good. "Comfort" - they do the job great. I find they catch a bit round my wrists, but this could easily be that they're not broken in properly yet (only used them 4 times so far). I will update in a couple of months. Update - the Versa Gripps are now broken in, and they are very comfortable. Build quality is great - I use them every day, and they are still as new. "Easy to Use" - they are relatively easy to use, although there is a knack - particularly when doing the second one, because you don't have a spare hand to assist. I found that underhand pulldowns were the hardest to get used to, but once you have the knack, it's fine. Overall, very pleased, and now I have experienced the benefits, I definitely wouldn't want to go back.

Grip no longer an issue.
This is an excellent piece of kit. It is well-made and feels pretty durable. If you think grip may be your limiting factor in lifts, these will solve that problem. They are easy to put on and quick to get on the bar, and your grip is sinched in, making it feel secure. I have only been lifting for six months but recently changed my workouts to incorporate different movements. Although I am not lifting super heavy loads when doing Romanian deadlifts, I noticed my grip would almost fail at the end of the set. I tried these, and my grip is no longer a limiting factor. I felt like I had reps in reserve or even could have lifted a bit heavier.

Great, sometimes fiddly
With doing higher reps, ive not been able to test these out as much as i'd like, so will update my review soon... I just wish the grip part was a tiny bit longer and i find they are amazing when I have set them up just right. I have had good success with using them for straight bar shrugs and felt extremely secure on both hands. However when using a dumbell or two which has a reasonaby thick handle, I find them difficult to wrap enough of it round to feel secure on a pulling movement. I wish the strap part was just a bit longer to wrap around the bar. I will keep trying them out and may increase my rating to 5 stars if its just something im not doing correctly.

Absolutely worth the investment
I have a physical disability on my right hand that gives me really weak grip strength which has definitely affected my ability to workout especially doing pulling exercises. I’ve tried some regular wrist straps that didn’t really help but saw these recommended by dr Mike and decided to give them a go and honestly they’ve been life changing in terms of helping me w my workouts. Grip is no longer a limiting factor and I can really push myself way more than I used to. I never go to the gym without these when training my upper body and I’ve had them for months. So all in all 5/5 stars and if it works for a disabled guy it will definitely work for you

Amazing gear, would recommend over compeition
The Versa Gripps are industry standard for a reason. They are amazing and do their job very well. For a 16 cm wrist the XS size is too small, should have gone for the S-M.

worth the extra cost, they are extra quality
Have been working with weights for years and never felt the need for straps etc but recently noticed my 'pull' weight was being restricted by my grip. I saw the Versa as a great solution but the price put me off, I could buy an alternative for half the price. I actually decided to buy both and return one... within a week I had sent the laternative back and kept the Versa. They are great quality and worth the money. I've since had someone at the gym ask about them too. I only use them on my Pull sets and mostly just for the end of the second set onwards but they look good as new and solid after several weeks of use.

Where to start...?
Well, I thought that I deserved every advantage to better develop and train in the gym. Yes, I read the product reviews before purchasing, I always do. So when it comes to spending over £60 for a pair of grips I judged the product on the enthusiastic reviews I had read. Yes I have bought a number of grips before in the sub £20 range and thought they were expensive! So - Versa Grips - worth the hype, worth the price? All I can say is that these things exceeded my expectations - got them today and took them with me to the gym - first thing is the undeniable build quality, and then the grip - limpet like - increased my pull up range by 20% - tomorrow is deadlift and back so really looking forward to that. Would I buy them again? Absolutely, and recommend them to anyone who is looking for the best grip available - even if you have to save up a little bit for these!

100% recommend these! I started noticing my grip was giving out before my muscles were. My grip strength isn't great, so this wasn't a surprise. My grip was giving out on my deadlifts before my other muscles would hit failure. Plus, my calluses were starting to get bad. These are SO GREAT. I was skeptical about the price, because they were about $80 at the time I ordered, but it's well worth the money! I could basically release my grip completely, and the weight would still be attached to my hand. These have also helped me with my pullups. If you're thinking about getting these, stop thinking and order them!

I've used and abused the same pair for years now for a ton of different exercises, from deadlifts to heavy pull-ups, and they still look great with almost no wear and tear.

Versa Gripps Pros are great and superior products. My 2 thumbs up on Versa Gripps Pros. Durable. I bought my Versa Gripps Pros on November, 2014. I used them regularly, and, in October, 2016, almost 2 years later, they were in great condition. I could lift very heavy weight successfully and repeatedly with Versa Gripps Pros on my hands with good grip without too much discomfort in my hands and wrists. They're not too uncomfortable, and they’re versatile. I can wrap them forward and use them with pushing exercises. I can wrap them backward and use them with pulling exercises. I can use them on many different exercises. I can use them with barbells. I can use them with dumbbells. They’re lightweight, not too heavy. They fit well on my hands, and they’re easy to use. Appearance-wise my Versa Gripps Pros are good. I like my blue pacific with black Versa Gripps Pros appearance. Versa Gripps Pros are similar to and better than Versa Gripps CLASSICS . A Versa Gripps Pro medium/large seems to be a bit larger/longer than a Versa Gripps Classic medium/large and the surface on the Versa Gripps Pro is smoother. After using Versa Gripps Classics and using Versa Gripps Pros later, I prefer the Versa Gripps Pros. The Pros are a bit more expensive than the Classics on amazon on Sept. 2017. Versa Gripps Pros are also similar to straps like Anvil Fitness straps and Rip Toned straps , but straps are much cheaper on amazon. I have used straps before, and I liked them. I love Versa Gripps, but after losing 2 Versa Gripps, I bought cheaper Rip Toned straps , and, after wearing and using the Rip Toned straps with some dumbbells, I can say Versa Gripps Pros are better and easier to use. I recommend lifting heavy weights with Versa Gripps for good grip.
