Gaines KS-4A - Eagle Keystone Series Mailboxes - Bronze/Polished Brass

I didn't realize how big this mailbox is. Don't buy this if you just need a regular house mailbox. It is beautiful and sturdy but made for a rural route or business.

I bought a Gaines mailbox for several hundred dollars a few years back. The paint is flaking off in several spots and now looks like crap. I talked to the company rep several times only to be told they will not stand behind there product because I do not have the sales receipt. I worked for a major fortune 500 company in the midwest and we always stood behind a product that did not hold up to the quality stated. I even waxed this mailbox only to have the paint flake off. Feel free to purchase their mailbox at your own risk. I have learned my lesson and will never again purchase there inferior product. (P. S. They do look nice when new) They just don't last.

replaced identical box when casting broke and door fell off. expensive but good quality.

Very good build quality and rich looking very impressed

I like the product but think it is overpriced. I had the same one for 13 years and had to refinish it twice. The powdercoat finish began peeling off and left an uneven surface. This.one I applied a coat of car wax as the manufacturer suggests so hope this one will hold up better over time. As for looks, it is very regal looking and looks so much better than the plastic ones found in Home Depot.

Excellent mailbox, very sturdy and well made. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to buy one for their stately home.

Unbolted the old mailbox bolted in the new mailbox but the house numbers on the side of the box. And it works fine.
