Will it write to BD-RE DL 50gb disc

Hi,It looks like it reads them but doesn't write them. What's in the box? Do I need to buy anything else in order to install and get this running?

You can play blu-ray with VLC player and its free.also if you have nero burning rom that plays and records blu-ray you can get a free install with a few month's trail version

data, photos, home videos etc stored on a usb stick, dvd etc. they start to deteriorate after 8 + years. If these are stored on an m disc they will last for hundreds of years without any deterioration. Also you can get M Discs, which are the same size as a normal RW DVD disc, that will store 100GB of data etc and store it permanently.

I agree with the others, just plug in the SATA power cable and away you go. When I installed mine I was replacing a DVD drive that was powered from the standard wiring loom so make sure you have enough connectors on your motherboard to take the SATA data cable.
