Synology Mesh Router MR2200ac, MR2200AC

This is a great piece of kit. Performance has been good and the price is very decent for what you get. The only gripe i have is the boot time is a little bit slow. Other than that this is a good purchase.

Received it on time. My main router (RT2600ac) is in the basement. I use this MR2200ac as WiFi Point. its plug and play, great Signal, no lag, no disconnect.

Good product as usual, works properly. make sure you update it because all the new interesting package are missing without updating it. download atation workd perfectly. only bemol is there is only one ethernet port for your client. would be great to have at least 3 other or invest in a small switch. Easy to setup if you have at least a little bit of brain. easy to backup and restore.

I was going to buy something like a « Fing box » or a « Circle » AND a new router. But did not like the idea of « ARP » spoofing my own network. This mesh router does it all and then some... parental controls are advanced enough I can set and forget. My wife loves the « rewards » and « pause » buttons in safe access. Companion app is simple and accessible. And still very « powerful ». I’m not using the « mesh » as I only bought one unit. Wifi signal strength is very good for my condo, and the router does a great job of choosing which band (2.4 or 5.0) to use for clients. Already has WPA3 encryption... Over the month I’ve been using this, I have just scratched the surface of what this thing can do. But I would recommend for sure for home use. Maybe even some light business use. The hardware does lack horsepower though when using advanced features like threat prevention and « quality of service » functions. For those, more demanding features, I wish I had bought the RT2600AC instead, but it is not available in Canada.

fonctionne bien pour étendre le réseau wifi et très simple d'utilisation avec une interface claire. Par contre attention au lieu d'achat, car il aura un firmware configuré pour une zone géographique et ca peut rendre le maillage plus compliqué a activer avec son grand frère, le RT2600ac.
